10Sekiro: Heroes Are Revived By Agent_vr
The first mod is inspired bySekiro: Shadows Die Twiceas opposed toDark Souls, butSekirois very much in the same vein of dark fantasy which Fromsoftware has become popular for making. The “Sekiro: Heroes Are Revived” mod adds the Kusabimaru sword, the Mortal Blade, and other items and components fromSekirotoMinecraft.
While this isn’t quiteDark Souls, it will make the game feel quite likeDark Souls.This mod doesn’t appear to have been updated sinceMinecraftversion1.15, so it is uncertain how it will work with later versions of the game.

Here, we have anotherDark Souls-like mod as opposed to the real thing, butBloodborneis even more likeDark SoulsthanSekiroin many ways.

Thismod actually adds an entireBloodborneboss battletoMinecraftwith Rom the Vacuous Spider. It brings the iconic monster and its spider allies to a recreation of the fight on Moonside Lake.
As a bonus, this mod also retextures the iron sword to resemble the Saw Cleaver fromBloodborneto make the fight feel even more reminiscent of the showdown with Vacuous Rom.

This mod brings some of theDark SoulsdifficultytoMinecraftwith toughened mob enemies with new powers and abilities. Creepers can go invisible, zombies can have enchanted weapons and armor, and the whole world generally wants to kill players harder than it ever has before.
This mod can even addboss encounters to add even more of aDark Soulsfeelto player’sMinecraftworld. Obviously,Dark Soulsdidn’t invent boss monsters and difficult gameplay, but this mod is more intended to put the game inDark Soulsproximity more so thanDark Soulsitself.

TheMythic Resource Packis a high fantasy mod toMinecraftthat makes it feel more like a classic fantasy game. WhileDark Soulsis a more recent fantasy game, many of its aesthetics draw on the fantasy RPGs of old.
Mythic is a lovingly-made return to older fantasy videogame visuals and is actually worth checking out even for players not strictly looking forDark Souls-inspiredadditions to thegame.

This mod is more of a straightforward attemptto injectDark SoulsintoMinecraft. It’s a mod that adds new kinds ofweapons, biomes, enemies, and evenDark Souls-inspired boss battles. Furthermore, it inserts a new variety of workbench that allows the player to craft the boss soul weapons fromDark Souls.
For players just looking for a little slice ofDark Soulsin their crafting world, this is a mod well worth downloading. However, anyone that tries it should be prepared to die.
4Dark Souls Resource Pack By Killerferrets
This is a resource pack forMinecraftthat is recently made and updated. It adds many of the iconic aesthetics, textures, and designs ofDark Soulsto player’s crafting world. It’s a resource pack, so it doesn’t really alter the gameplay all that much, but sometimes fans only want to feel like they’re in Lordran without actually returning to Lordran.
On top of that, it appears that Killerferrets will go back to work on this mod soon, so there may be more from this resource pack yet to come.
3Dark Souls By Delvlees
This is another mod that addsthe weapons, armors, andenemies ofDark SoulstoMinecraftworlds. Players can equip the armor of Artorias the Abyswalker, Dragonslayer Ornstein, Executioner Smough, and many other memorable armor sets from the game.

The one caveat is that this was uploaded back in 2016, and Delvlees says that he has since lost the files and may be unable to update and upgrade the mod. No new posts from Delvlees have been added to the post in years either.
2Dark Souls Legacy by SGGeroy
“Dark Souls Legacy” is a resource pack intended to help the player rebuild the memorable locales of the originalDark Soulsby adding the textures and color palettes that made up Lordran. This is another resource pack that hasn’t been updated since 2015, so it requires both an older version ofMinecraftand an above-average PC system to avoid framerate issues.
All of that said, it’s still a gorgeous resource pack that will take players back to Lordran and longing to fight off undead warriors, skeletons, and Black Knights.
1Craft Souls By Amaxter325
Finally, we have “Craft Souls.“It’s another olderMinecraftmod, but it takes the spirit ofDark Soulsrather than just trying to recreate its elements inMinecraft. Players have to work to build their campfires, use a matchbox to relight their torch, and fight their ghost to retrieve equipment should they ever die. It gives anupgraded level of difficulty toMinecraft.
This one will require an older version ofMinecraftto run, as it was uploaded back in 2016. That said, it seems quite worth it given the creativity and spirit put behind it.
