Summary
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3Zombies Season 1 is available now, and with it comes a fair bit of content for fans of the open-world mode. There are new schematics for players to hunt for that include a throwable Aether Blade and an auto-repairing armor plate, while a new mission has provided content for those that are interested inModern Warfare 3Zombies’ story. The VR-11 Wonder Weapon has made an unexpected return, too, giving fans a fair bit of content to engage with in Season 1. However, the mode could still use a number of player-requested Quality-of-Life updates, with five in particular standing out.
A Bigger Stash Limit For MWZ
One of the most common complaints about Treyarch’s latest Zombies mode is a small stash limit. While players are encouraged to craftWonder Weapons, perks, ammo mods, and so on, they have only 10 slots to store all this gear. This makes it difficult to plan ahead, which is supposed to be a major draw of the mode. Simply doubling (or tripling) the amount of storage slots so that players can make use of all their recipes without having to delete valuable gear would be a welcome change, and it is one that should be easy to integrate. If it wanted to, Treyarch could even make a bigger stash an earnable reward.
Giving MWZ a Scoreboard
Despite having post-match leaderboards to examine in the stats section, players are lacking a way to easily see their performance during a match ofModern Warfare 3Zombies. While they may not be looking to track their objective captures like they do in multiplayer, a scoreboard could give them an idea of how many kills they have, which would be a useful feature for those trying to grind forCall of Duty’s many camos. With tasks like “kill 300 Zombies with a Pack-a-Punched weapon” existing, players being able to see exactly how many kills they have can make it easier to manage time in a match. Currently, players need to watch for the challenge completion message, which can be easy to miss.
Bringing a Map Filter For MWZ
Being able to filter out map markers mid-match could be hugely beneficial for the mode. After all, players may be loading into a match with a clear objective, focusing on one specificCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3Zombies contract or aiming to clear Mercenary camps. Being able to remove all the clutter and the many other objectives from the map so that players can focus purely on what they need to get done can save time, which is important in an extraction shooter. Additionally, it can make it easier to track downPack-a-Punchor a desired Perk machine.
If a map filter was added,Treyarchcould add the option for players to track Mercenary Convoys. While many players may not be interested in having these on the map at all times, those completing the mission for destroying one would surely like to see it on their map, so making it a box to tick would be ideal.

Private Matches For MWZ
Though MWZ may be built around its community experience, as gamers are encouraged to team up with random players they find exploringUrzikstan, some would rather have a nice casual game where they do not have to worry about players stealing the contracts they want to run or clearing the Stronghold before they get the chance to do so. Private matches would make solo matches possible, too, which could see Zombie health lowered to be more fair for a lone player. Given how Private matches have always been an option for Zombies, MWZ forcing gamers into a busy lobby is not ideal.
Loot Protection For MWZ
Though Treyarch has gone out of its way to make MWZ more stable, even makingModern Warfare 3Zombies’ exfils less enjoyable to prevent crashes, disconnects still happen regularly. When this happens, unlucky players will lose everything they deployed with, which could include rare Aetherium crystals or Wonder Weapons like theRay Gun. Making it so that loot is not lost if players disconnect instead of dying would make any crashes far less frustrating, as right now server problems can mean hours of lost work.
