It’s been a big day for theAnimal Crossing: New Horizonscommunity, with Nintendo detailing new content coming to the game in the next few months. WhileNew Horizons’Winter update is exciting enough on its own, Nintendo also confirmed the next update will arrive in late January, bringing more changes to the island-building game.

Nintendo didn’t elaborate much further than the confirmation itself, which does make sense given the bulk of the other contentbeing added inAnimal Crossing’sWinter update, which will coat islands in snow and allow players to deliver presents.  The update may see the winter-themed content removed from the game and replaced by something else. It’s possible that fans could get a Valentine’s Dayupdate, as the timing matches up fairly well, but it’s difficult to say.
