Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubiconhas a massive selection of upgrades available for ACs, allowing players to customize their builds to their own play styles. There are a couple of upgrades that seem a little bit difficult to figure out how they work, though, and one of these is called the Quick Turn. This AC upgrade is supposed to allowthese FromSoftware mechsto turn on a dime, but this already seems like something they can do without this upgrade. The way this upgrade works is not very intuitive, so some players might want a breakdown of how to use it properly.

How to Get Quick Turn in Armored Core 6

Getting this upgrade is fairly easy; it’s available in theArmored Core shopcalled OS Tuning for oneOST Chip currency. OST Chips are earned by completing Arena fights for the first time only; these arena fights start with just one as a reward, but more challenging battles will give more OST Chips. Since Quick Turn is so cheap, players can pick this upgrade up as soon as they complete their first Arena fight if they wish. However, it can be challenging to figure out how to use this useful upgrade at first.

How to Use Quick Turn in Armored Core 6

In the menu, the instructions for how to use Quick Turn are not very specific. When hitting the sprint button and using the directional movements, the AC just seems to have the same kind of quick movements as before. The key to making good use of the Quick Turn upgrade is to verify tohold the sprint button while turning. This makes it so thatwhen a mech turns, it brings the camera with it.This means if players hold sprint and use the directional key to turn around, the camera will also do a 180, giving them a better view of what is in front of the mech.

Some PC players who do not use controllers have mentioned that this movement doesn’t feel great on a keyboard. The sprint key for PC is Shift, and the movement keys are WASD. It can be difficult for some players to hold down Shift with their pinky (little finger) while moving accurately with the WASD keys; this can be solved by either moving tousing a controller on PCor by trying to use the left thumb to hold Shift.
