Summary
ABaldur’s Gate 3player online has managed to kill every NPC in the game during an Honour Mode Dark Urge run, while collecting every single corpse along the way. There have been some crazy challenge runs since the release ofBaldur’s Gate 3, but this one is a massive achievement.
This particular gamer is completingBaldur’s Gate 3as the Dark Urge, which is essentially a completely different experience from those who don’t. Playing as the Dark Urge gives a ton more roleplay scenarios, and even a few more quests to complete along the way. Anyone who doesn’t complete a Dark Urge playthrough ofBaldur’s Gate 3is depriving themselves of a ton of amazing content, which is why everyone should give it a try at least once.

Redditor DepriSlimey shared their playthrough online, where they claim to have killed every single NPC inBaldur’s Gate 3as a Dark Urge in Honour Mode. In their words, they “finished the ultimate Durge playthrough.” To make this even more interesting, they shared their Traveller’s Chest from the game, in which they have placed the corpse of every single NPC inBaldur’s Gate 3. Completing the game as a Dark Urge simply wasn’t enough - they had to take down everyone along the way. A closer inspection reveals not even theBaldur’s Gate 3companionswere spared, making this arguably the darkest Durge playthrough ever completed.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Player Collects Over 2,000 Corpses in Honour Mode
Honour Mode inBaldur’s Gate 3is supposed to be the biggest challenge players can face. Not only is the difficulty higher, but players only have one save file, and the game ends when the party is completely wiped out. Players can’t simply load the game when things are going bad either, as it constantly saves to ensure no progress is ever lost. This means that any risky actions could result in the death of the entire save, which is why DepriSlimey’s achievement is so impressive. There are so many NPCs that would cause chaos if attacked, so to come out on top during all of these engagements is some feat.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for theBaldur’s Gateseries. With Larian moving on from the series, a new developer will be tasked with taking the reins, which, given the high bar set by the latest release, will be a tough task.Baldur’s Gate 3is still wildly popular, so there’s certainly no rush for Wizards of the Coast to pump out a quick sequel any time soon. Hopefully, the company picks a strong developer capable of living up to those lofty expectations of any newBaldur’s Gategame.
