Asserting its dominance in the world of PC gaming since its release on August 04, 2025,BattleBit Remasteredtakes a more light-hearted approach to the globally popular first-person shooter genre. Topping Steam charts across the world since its introduction, the game boasts highly destructive maps, plenty of player customization options, and a plethora of weapons to choose from.

Of the classes available inBattleBit Remastered, the Assault class is perhaps one of the most popular. With an emphasis on automatic weapons and doing as much damage as possible, this class is built for the destructive and the trigger-happy. The class features 14 different weapon options, but which are the most effective for building up a formidable kill count?

The FAMAS rifle from BattleBit Remastered

10FAMAS

The FAMAS isthe fastest distributor of projectiles in the assault rifle class, with an astounding fire rate of 900. It does this with a moderately challenging recoil and a mid-range damage rating that players will still find effective given the gun’s offensive output.

The biggest hurdle for players, albeit one that can be easily resolved, is the FAMAS' main sight. The default visual guide is large for the weapon it mounts and proves a significant obstacle to the player’s vision, with the thick frame blocking all but a small circle of vision for the players to find their target. However, with a sight attachment, this weapon is a great option. It can be unlocked from rank 95.

9AK15

The first unlockable assault rifle inBattleBit Remasteredis the AK15. Unlike the two starting rifles, the AK15 gives up some of its fire rate in exchange for an increase in damage. The change is noticeable in both regards, but once players have used this weapon, they will see that this is a reasonable trade.

While the AK15 is marginally slower than the starter rifles, players will still get a steady flow of gunfire with this weapon. The added damage is a clear benefit and will see enemies go down much more easily. At rank 15, players can have their way with their targets with the AK15.

8G36C

With a mixed stat line thatculminates into a well-rounded weapon, the G36C features a solid damage count, reasonable recoil, and an impressive fire rate. The gun’s crowded magazine houses 30 occupants, so players will have plenty of opportunities to better their kill count.

One downside of the G36C is the main sight that comes as the default scope option when first using the weapon. It is designed in a way that some players may find “busy” or overcrowded, which makes it more of a distraction than a guide. Once players rack up at least 5 kills, however, they will be able to resolve the issue with one of the gun’s attachable scopes. To earn this weapon, players will need to achieve a rank of 120.

7AK74

One of the two startingassault rifles for new players, the AK74 is more than capable of delivering damage, while remaining a fairly user-friendly weapon for all skill levels. With a mid-range damage rating and a recoil that will present a minor challenge to beginners, it is a great introduction to the game and Assault class.

The AK74 has a great fire rate and carries 30 bullets in a magazine, so there is ample opportunity for rookie gunners to find their feet. While there aren’t any supporting scopes to get players started, racking up 5 kills will get new gamers some visual guidance with the AK74.

6M4A1

The other starting option for the Assault class, the M4A1 bears many similarities to its counterpart, the AK74, with a few minor differences that could give some players an edge. With a marginal advantage in fire rate, the M4A1 will empty its clip a little faster than the AK74, which could be the difference between winning or losing an engagement.

With that said, the differences between the two starting assault rifles are minimal, sochoosing the best weaponto start a player’sBattleBit Remasteredcampaign will more likely come down to how the guns feel in action. Whether it be the AK74 or the M4A1, these guns are both a great place to start.

5HK419

A decent all-rounderamong the ranks of the assault riflesinBattleBit Remastered, the HK419 has a little bit of everything to give a fairly well-rounded assault experience. With a damage rating that is a bit lower than some of its counterparts, the HK419 will account for this with a higher fire rate.

The HK419 bears similarities to the SG550; however, the SG550 has a more user-friendly feel due to its lower recoil and higher distribution rate. Nonetheless, this is a great weapon that can be obtained once players reach a rank of 135.

4SG550

An ode to the trigger-happy gamer, the SG550 offers a damage rating on the lower end of the spectrum but makes up for it with its near-non-existent recoil and crowded magazine. With 30 bullets at an impressive 700 fire rate, this weapon was built for those who like to fire from the hip.

The incredibly low recoil rating on the SG550 is the weapon’s best feature, as it enables players to keep their finger on the trigger for longer stretches without veering off target. This handy offensive tool is available to players who reach the esteemed rank of 80.

3Aug A3

Players who do the hard yards andmake it to rank 75inBattleBit Remasteredwill be rewarded with the Aug A3 assault rifle. With a mid-range damage rating and lower recoil effect, this is a great weapon for those who favor quantity over quality.

The Aug A3 makes a sacrifice in the amount of power it produces; however, the speed it gains from this sacrifice is a worthy trade. With 30 bullets to a magazine, this weapon is an efficient and effective way of amassing enemy dog tags.

2FAL

One of the last prizes to be grabbed for the dedicatedBattleBit Remasteredplayer, the FAL is a high-damage, high-output weapon capable of delivering a mean knockout punch. The 40-damage weapon has 20 bullets in a magazine and a slightly challenging recoil that is worth the hassle.

It will take some hard work to achieve the rank of 140 required to unlock the FAL, but it is well worth the investment. Although its main sight is rather busy, players can easily curb the minor obstacle by attaching a trusty Red-Dot sight or something more advanced.

1Scar-H

Theheaviest-hitting assault rifleinBattleBit Remastered, the Scar-H is the ultimate weapon for bad intentions. With a class-high damage rating of 42 and a very respectable fire rate of 500, the Scar-H will hit targets with both quantity and quality.

The weapon’s recoil is on the higher end for assault rifles. However, given its offensive potency, this comes as no surprise. Flying into the arsenals of players who achieve a rank of 50, the Scar-H is the perfect way for players to assert their dominance on the battlefield.
