Fall is often gamers' favorite time of the year every year. Not only is it customarily when the biggest games release, like today’sWatch Dogs: Legion, but it is also when the best deals can be found. And global pandemic or not, it looks like this year won’t be much different, as Best Buy is already getting into the spirit of the season by releasing a preview of its Black Friday video game deals.
In years past, Black Friday deals often involved lining up at physical retail stores before midnight on Thanksgiving night for a chance to snag “doorbuster” deals. This year will thankfully require less standing out in the cold before stores open and more sitting behind a computer,as stores like Walmart have already announced that they will not be open Thanksgiving day, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and most if not all of their deals will also be available online.

Best Buy looks like it will be doing roughly the same. Best Buy has released its preview for its Black Friday deals, and so far, has not made any mention of in-store specific deals. In fact, some deals have already begun. Its first string of deals run from today to November 1, like the SanDisk 128GB microSDXC,which is a must-have for Switch owners, for only $19.99 instead of $67.99.
Nintendo Switch will have some excellent deals, including a great bundle price on aMario Kart 8 Deluxebundle that also includes 3 months of Nintendo Online. Nintendo’s first party titles are often hard to find at a discount outside of Black Friday, so those who are interested in tryingNintendo of America president Doug Bowser’s favorite horror gameLuigi’s Mansion 3, for example should consider jumping on this deal.

The PlayStation 5 will be out by the time these deals are live, and it has been confirmed previously thatall of these games will be playable on PS5, and many of them will benefit from the PS5’s new hyperfast proprietary SSD, even without updates from the developers.
Not to be outdone, the Xbox One will have some great deals, including its iconic racing gameForza Horizon 4,which will be getting a free next-gen upgrade for Xbox Series S and X. All of the below games will also be compatible and likely boosted in some way by the Series S and X hardware.

PC
PC fans are in luck, as the following PC hardware deals are actually already live on Best Buy’s website. If PC players are looking for software deals however,GOG is actually having a Halloween Sale now through November 2.
