Summary
Skyline Valley is a whole new regionthat players can explore. It has new events, quests, enemies, and rewards. As players make their way through this new region, they come across hidden locations off the beaten trail. From caves underneath waterfalls and tree house retreats to mysterious floating weapons and a handful of creepy encounters, there are a few hidden gems that players should check out.
Fallout 76has lots of easter eggs and hidden locations dotted all over the map. So, it’s no surprise that Skyline Valley has its own special areas for players to find and investigate.

1A Hidden Cave
A Cool Place To Call Home
Northeast of Camp Liberty, there’s a stunning location with a large waterfall on a clifftop. Hidden at the base of the waterfall isa cave that players can enter. While there’s nothing too exciting inside the cave, it’s a fun little place to visit.
Also, players can place down their CAMP in this area, meaning thatthey can build not only on top of the waterfall but inside the cave, too. This is great for those who enjoy coming up with creative and unique builds. The cave also has a few mineral deposits that players can mine, along with a couple of junk items and a guitar for those wanting to play some music.

2A Rickety Tree House
A Great Place To Call Home
If the player heads to Research Site Saxony, they’ll find an old tree house to the northwest that can be incorporated into a CAMP build. The tree house spans over two floors, and while there’s not a lot inside,it’s a fairly open place to build. It’s possible to turn this tree house into a forest outpost with minimal effort.
There aren’t all that many pre-existing structures that players canplace their CAMP over inFallout 76,so this tree house is a fun place to call home, especially for those who love the settlement-building aspect of the game.

3A Floating Scythe
An Unexplained Phenomenon
If the player ventures east of Skyline Valley, right toward the bottom of the map, they may come across a strange floating Scythe in a clearing. There is no explanation as to why this scythe is here. It’s unclear whether this was intentional or a mistake left in by the developers, but nevertheless, it is an interesting place, to say the least.
Just like the previous couple of entries, this location can be built on. So, it’s possible to create bases centered around thismysterious melee weapon.

4A Friendly Dog
A Furry Friend
Close to Big Meadows Gas Well, players can stumble across an old abandoned cabin. Roaming around that cabin is a friendly dog. While this may not seem that special, finding a non-hostile dog isn’t all that common in post-apocalyptic Appalachia. More often than not, any dogs that the player comes across will immediately attack on sight.
There are several locations on the map where players can find friendly cats, so it only seems fair that Bethesda adds more friendly dogs for players to come across. This place is alsoa CAMP-friendly location. This is great for those dog lovers out there.

5A Dangerous Park
Enemies Galore
Directly south of South River Bridge, players can find a picturesque park. However, this stunning park is a death zone. This location has a couple of random encounter spots located right next to each other. From Sasquatches to Ogua, multiple high-level enemies can spawn in this location.
Not only does this location spawn lots of high-level enemies, but it also spawns enemy battles. Players can expect to see things like a group of Super Mutants taking on a Yao Gai or a battle between a Blue Devil and some settlers. This is not a great place for low-level players, but veterans may want to visit this place. This is also the location of Bee’s final message,an interesting unmarked treasure hunt.

6A Creepy Shack
Beware Of Moe
If the player continues south from the previous entry, they will come across a locked shack with a Keep Out message scribbled on the door. Behind the shack are three graves, a bloody shovel, and a Moe The Mole poster.
Some players have theorized that this is the home of The Mole. The Mole is a mysterious and creepy being that the player can encounter while exploring Skyline Valley. The whole area is a buildable location, so players who are feeling brave can claim this creepy location and call it home.

7A Hidden Assassin
Bring A Jetpack For This One
In the center of Big Meadows Gas Well, there’s a huge tower. If the player uses their jetpack to get to the very top of the tower, then there are a couple of surprises that await them at the top. To get to the top of the tower, do the following:
If the player has canned coffee, then they can jump straight from the ladder to the top without needing to land on the piece of wood sticking out of the tower. At the top of the tower, there are a few things of note. First, a note containing details of a top-secret assassination mission. There is a sniper rifle and a pair of binoculars pointing north.

There is a skeleton with a gun in the center of the structure. It looks like this person was supposed to be the assassin. The strangest thing about this location is the teddy in the corner. It’s surrounded by bottles of wine, a cigarette, and a pistol. Since the ladder leading to the top of the tower is broken, perhaps the would-be assassin got stuck andplaced this teddydown as company shortly before taking his own life.
