Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.is one of Nintendo’s most forgotten and bizarre projects. Set in a steam punk take on London, England, the plot is about an elite task force that uses steam-powered weaponry to battle eldritch-style aliens. This all sounds fairly standard, except that the team is formed by Abraham Lincoln. He recruits the bravest heroes from the public domain such as John Henry, Tom Sawyer, Tiger Lily, andthe Cowardly Lion.

The gameplay functions similarly toValkyria Chronicles, with each side taking turns moving its units around the battlefield and performing a variety of actions.
