7Kim Gets Sassy With Jimmy
“Wow, my knight in shining armor. That is some sacrifice, quitting a job that you’ve been trying to tank since day one.”
Season Two, Episode Five - Rebecca
While Kim put up with a lot of aggro from Jimmy over the years and seemed to be the only one fighting his corner a lot of the time, that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t get sassy with him from time to time.
When Jimmy tries to get out of a job he doesn’t like but frames it as a favor to Kim, she wastes no time in calling him out on his underhandedness.

6Kim Nopes Out
“I know we’re never supposed to say our clients are guilty, but hey, not my client anymore. He’s guilty as sin.”
Season One, Episode Seven - Bingo
Kim is a dedicated lawyer who does her best to get every client off the hook, or, failing that, lower their sentance or punishment.
That doesn’t mean she puts up with any crap from her clients, however, as seen in the episode “Bingo” from the first season where she gives up on a client and admits that he’s very clearly guilty.

“Either you fit the jacket or the jacket fits you.”
Season Two, Episode Eight - Fifi
Kim came out with a lot of witty one-liners throughout the show, but this one was perhaps one of her smoother ones. Speaking during a pitch with a potential new client, she uses this analogy to explain to the client how they need to find the right lawyer for them, even if it isn’t her.

This smooth line convinces them, of course, to hire her, and shows how capable of a professional she is, something that was demonstrated a lot throughout the show.
“You don’t save me. I save me.”

Growing up the way she did, Kim had to learn quickly to stick up for and rely on herself, owing to not having many responsible adult figures in her life. This line to Jimmy is her taking offense at the idea of being saved or rescued by anybody other than herself.
The quote in itself may not be anything too out-there, but it’s the context behind it that makes it such a powerful Kim Wexler quote. Viewers saw how Kim was in a relationship with someone new, but one of the things theBetter Call Saulfinale left unansweredwas how this new boyfriend/ husband compares to Jimmy McGill.

3Kim Stands Up To Lalo
“If you don’t trust your men with your money, you have bigger problems than if you trust Saul Goodman.”
Season Five, Episode Nine - Bad Choice Road
This episode sees Lalo Salamanca show up at Jimmy and Kim’s house, intimidating the pair of them while asking Saul to tell him what happened out in the desert during the episode “Bagman.” Lalo is a complex psychopathic character, with some viewers believing he’s theBetter Call Saulcharacter that should have a spin-off show next.
While Kim is clearly scared for her and her husband’s life and isn’t used to this type of life, she stands up to Lalo here in what is a powerful moment for the character.

2Kim Tells Jimmy The Truth
“You asked if you were bad for me. That’s not it. We are bad for each other.”
Season Six, Episode Nine - Fun and Games

1Kim Tells Chuck A Harsh Truth
“I know he’s not perfect, and I know he cuts corners. But you’re the one who made him this way. He idolizes you, he accepts you, he takes care of you. And all he ever wanted was your love and support. But all you’ve ever done ia judge him. You never believed in him, you never wanted him to succeed. And you know what? I feel sorry for him. And I feel sorry for you.”
Season Two, Episode Nine - Nailed
This quote by Kim Wexler in the ninth episode of Season Two sees her telling Chuck a necessary truth about him and his brother Jimmy’s relationship. Throughout the show, viewers had seen Jimmy dote on his brother Chuck who “suffers” from electromagnetic hypersensitivity.
In return, Chuck constantly derides Jimmy through subtle words and actions. Chuck clearly resents Jimmy being a lawyer, but never tells him straight. Kim acts as the speaker of truth in this scene by giving Chuck a necessary outsider’s perspective on Jimmy. She shows how she’s not only of thebestBetter Call Saullawyersbut also one of the best people in the show.
