Call of Duty Mobile Teases New Weapon Coming in Season 13

Call of Duty: Mobileis receiving a brand new weapon. The official Twitter page forCall of Duty: Mobilehas just posted a teaser image for what will be the newest weapon in the mobile shooter.

The Peacekeeper will arrive in Season 13 of theextremely successfulCall of Duty: Mobile. In the tweet, a silhouette of a small weapon is shown with the words “coming soon” behind it. The caption of the Twitter post itself is “can you guess the weapon!” Anyone who remembersCall of Duty: Black Ops 4may recognize the gun design, as it is thePeacekeeperfrom thatCall of Dutyentry.

Not to be confused with thePeacekeeper fromApex Legends, the Peacekeeper fromCall of Dutyis an SMG and assault rifle hybrid. The gun first made an appearance inCall of Duty: Black Ops 2as the first-ever DLC weapon in anyCall of Dutygame. Although that gun was beloved by many, that exact gun isn’t the one coming toCall of Duty: Mobile.The silhouette design in the tweet instead looks like the version that came toCall of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Season 13 forCall of Duty: Mobileseems to have aBlack Opstheme about it. Just like this Peacekeeper teaser, theBlack Ops 4version of Nuketownwas also teased to be coming toCall of Duty: Mobilein Season 13. It will feel quite nostalgic to useBlack Ops 4’s Peacekeeper inBlack Ops 4’s Nuketown onCOD: Mobile in Season 13.

It is likely that theseBlack Ops-style content drops are coming alongside thefairly well-regardedCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The most recent entry into theCODseries has done well thus far. Just likeCall of Duty: Warzoneis integrated intoBlack Ops Cold War, it makes sense to share elements of theBlack Opsworld intoCall of Duty: Mobile.

An interesting thing to note about the Peacekeeper inCall of Dutyis that thus far, it has only been inTreyarchCall of Dutygames, but that will now change withCOD: Mobile. Additionally, the Peacekeeper has always been added as a part of some update or piece of DLC.
