WithCall of Duty: Warzonecurrently plagued by cheaters, YouTuber and beginner game developer Usman Siddiqui has clearly had enough. However, instead of taking a break fromCall of Duty: Warzoneand playing something else, the fan has created their own version of the battle royale game.
Siddiqui shared a hilarious video that shows the creation process, and it is interesting to see just how much theCall of Duty: Warzonefanwas able to accomplish. To start, the fan downloaded various gun assets off the internet, replicating the weapon classes ofCall of Duty: Warzone. A double-barreled shotgun reminiscent of the 725 was used, as was a UMP-45 and AK-47. The player was sure to make all these guns lootable, spawning in with a pistol just like a regular game ofCall of Duty: Warzone.

In order for the guns to be lootable, the player needed to design crates, something that they did a terrific job with. Not only do the crates look similar to the ones seen in Verdansk, but Siddiqui added the same sound that plays when they are opened inside of the realCall of Duty: Warzone. The buy station is also replicated, and while the sound that plays when it is activated is also pulled from the game, the only thing that can be purchased areCall of Duty: Warzone’s armor plates.
Next up came AI enemies, as the YouTuber was unable to replicate actual servers to populate the game with other live players. While they could have chosen any random character model, they used an Operator that is now infamous amongst theCall of Duty: Warzoneplayer base. All enemies were given thecontroversial Roze skinalongside some basic AI, making for a satisfying sight when Siddiqui begins to wipe them out.
The final step of the creation sees theCall of Duty: Warzoneplayer downloading a random map with a visual style that is reminiscent ofVerdansk 84. They then add the iconic green gas outside of the map to make it look like the storm is closing in. From there, they wipe out all the enemy Rozes, withCall of Duty: Warzone’s victory screen appearing after they are dealt with. While the fan game lacks bullet animations, damage indicators, and overall polish, it is still very impressive - especially given the fact that it was made in only two days.
Still, while this video is certainly fun to watch, it is hard to ignore the reason that this fan game was made in the first place. As such, hopefullyCall of Duty: Warzone’s anti-cheat systemcan make the real game more fun to play once it finally arrives.
