Meta issues, balance concerns, and many other problems can be linked directly to the game’s integration. This has provoked some fans to call for a new game mode to be added to theCall of Duty: Warzonemenu.

In a post by melon_b0y on Reddit, theCall of Duty: Warzonefan makes an argument for a “Classic Mode” to be added to the game. This mode would include onlyCall of Duty: Modern Warfarecontent, which removes most additions made during theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warintegration. The user cites the FFAR and AUG meta, balance concerns, and even argues the nostalgia value that users would buy into. Fans in the comments disagree with the prospect, but not because it would not work. Many fans believe that Activision and Raven Software would never include this as a game mode due to the potential lost in profit that may appear.

Call of Duty:Warzonehas a negative perception at the moment among much of the game’s community. From content creators backing every other weapon in the game to the developers only patching items on a select list, fans believe that the game is already headed downhill. Many problems have, from a community perspective, been tactically ignored due to the item being sold within the game’s bundle store.

While the idea has some merit among part of the community, many fans believe it would divide the game’s players.Problems regardingCall of Duty: Warzonewould only grow more complicated, and the developers may only service one game mode at a time. While a classic mode may be appealing, some members of the community have doubts about its viability.
