The approaching release ofCall of Duty: Vanguardis planned to have a significant impact onCall of Duty: Warzone. According to a recent blog post,Call of Duty: Warzone’sPacificupdate will be adding a number of new features to the game, including a new map, RICOCHET Anti-Cheat, and planes.
In the new update, which will reportedly launch withCall of Duty: VanguardSeason One on December 2,Call of Duty: Warzonewill be renamedCall of Duty: Warzone Pacificand the action will be transported to anew map called Caldera. Caldera features lush forests, rocky outcrops, sandy beaches, mysterious ruins, a dormant volcano, and more. It was built using the information gathered from two years of research and listening to the community, and it’s just the beginning of Raven Software’s plan to integrateCall of Duty: Vanguardfeatures intoCall of Duty: Warzone.

Players will finally be able to take to the skies themselves in a variety ofplanes that will be added toCall of Duty: Warzone Pacific. Gamers will be able to steer these vehicles in displays of aeriel dogfighting or stay on the ground and guide powerful anti-aircraft weapons against their airborne foes. These AA guns will feature a streamlined loadout and weapon pool, which should help keep gameplay balanced and enjoyable.
The integration ofCall of Duty: VanguardintoCall of Duty: Warzonewill also be adding a ton ofCall of Duty: Vanguardcontent, including Operators, Calling Cards, and more aspects taken fromBlack Ops Cold WarandModern Warfare. Cross-progression and Seasonal Prestige will also be making an appearance. The new dedicatedVanguardmodes forCall of Duty: Warzone Pacific–Vanguard Royale and VanguardPlunder–will be a showcase of all the new content, including weaponry and vehicles like biplanes and AA trucks. It will also be the perfect arena to test out dogfighting, especially once a new machinegun fighter aircraft is added to the game.
Apparently, this is just the beginning of the newvehicles being added toCall of Duty: Warzonefor theVanguardmodes. Although these modes will only allow weaponry fromCall of Duty: Vanguardto be used in loadouts, all Operators will be usable, including those with previously earnedCall of Duty: Warzonecontent. This extends even to the dedicatedVanguardplaylist, which some players may find reassuring to hear. Additionally,Call of Duty: Vanguardowners will be able to access the Caldera map a day earlier than otherCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers.
