It has been rumored for quite some time thatCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warwould be adding a newWarzonemap, but perhaps this is a sign that it will instead simply be adding on to the existing one. Information onBlack Ops Cold Warand how it will impactWarzoneis still hard to come by, so fans will need to standby for more details.

Infinity Ward has said in the past thatWarzonewill be a “constant” for theCall of Dutyfranchisemoving forward. What this means is thatWarzonewill continue to be supported, even as newCall of Dutygames are released every year. These newCall of Dutygames will have a direct impact onWarzone, so fans can expectBlack Ops Cold Warcontent to make it toWarzonewithin the next few months.

While nothing official has been announced, datamining leaks have given fans some possibilities as to what that content will be. Dataminers have found evidence that theBlack Opsseries killstreaks RC-XD and Spy Planeare in theWarzonefiles, so it’s possible that they will be added to the BR at some point down the line.

Another likely possibility is thatBlack Opsseries character Frank Woodswill be added toWarzoneas a playable operator. Dataminers have found some Frank Woods dialogue in the game that matches up nicely withWarzone’sBlack Ops Cold Warteasers, so hopefully an announcement comes sooner rather than later.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
