Call of Duty: Warzonefans have been doing their best to learn the new Calera map, and while it initially seemed like a stable experience, some frustrating bugs have been found. One such issue is tied to the Tier 100 battle pass skin forCall of Duty: Warzone, as it is letting its users disappear if they get far enough away.

The final unlock of the latestCall of Duty: Warzonebattle passis the colorful Awoken skin for the Operator Francis. The skin sees the player covered in tribal tattoos, wearing a cape and some unique clothing. The main attraction is the glowing mask, which looks lava-like and stands out from all the more grounded looks seen inCall of Duty: Vanguardthus far. Unfortunately, while the skin looks great, some players are using it to get an unfair advantage.

In a clip posted byCall of Duty: Warzoneplayerand former pro BennyCentral, the tier 100 skin is shown making an enemy entirely invisible when they move a certain distance away. That specific distance is 35 meters, and if a player moves any further, they will be completely obscured. To test this, BennyCentral has their friend move back and forth with the skin while their sniper scope is trained on them. While they are still easily visible, this changes as soon as the scope is pulled down.

When the player is not scoped in on, they are entirely invisible, meaning that gamers could be in for a lot of unfair deaths. WithCall of Duty: Warzone’s Caldera mapbeing so large, an opponent being over 35 meters away is fairly common. Unfortunately, if a player pairs this skin with an LMG or Sniper Rifle, they should have no problem gunning down their enemies from far away - completely obscuring their Operator from the person that they are firing at.

Obviously, this is an issue that Raven Software will need to address quickly, though Sledgehammer Games has the same problem with a different skin inCall of Duty: Vanguard. Abattle pass skin for Constanzeis making her entirely invisible from a distance, with the exact same bug being seen. As such, there are two broken skins in the same battle pass that are giving gamers invisibility, with many quick to call the pass pay-to-win because of this. While this was surely not Sledgehammer’s intention when making the skins, it is frustrating that the same issue is seen with two different outfits.

Hopefully, this so-calledpay-to-winCall of Dutycontentis adjusted or briefly removed so that the developers can make the necessary fixes. As of now, invisible skins are completely ruining bothCall of Duty: VanguardandCall of Duty: Warzone.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
