A Reddit user known as AcceptableRule9629 recently captured some gameplay footage of a matchtaking place in the Vondel map. While they’re hiding out on a rooftop, a random floating door appears out of nowhere. The door quickly floats into frame and then just stops, hanging ominously in the air.
AcceptableRule9629 watches the door for a brief moment and then shoots it to see if that phases the door, but nothing happens. As another experiment, they then attempt to parachute into the door, but AcceptableRule9629 just flies right through it like some sort of ghostly apparition. FellowCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers have come to the comments of the post to share their experiences with the ghost door of Vondel, revealing that this has been happening for at least a week. Some players are even theorizing thatWarzone’sdevelopers may have put the door there on purpose as a joke. There have been someamazingWarzoneclips from matches, but this one is just hilariously weird.
Although this very well could bea strangeWarzonebug, the ghost door of Vondel is currently still a mystery. If this happens to be a bug, then it’s at least an incredibly funny one that doesn’t seem to be impacting gameplay for players. It seems as though the only threat the ghost door poses is distracting players in the middle of a match. Until this mystery is solved,Call of Duty:Warzoneplayers may want to be on the lookout for an ominous floating door when playing the Vondel map.
