While there have been some dramatic changes toCall of Duty: Warzonein the past, like when Verdansk was taken back in time, this is easily the biggest update that the battle royale has seen since launch. Considering this, it’s really no surprise that theCall of Duty: Warzoneservers are being taken offline to implement it properly. When Will the Call of Duty: Warzone Servers Come Back Online?
TheCall of Duty: WarzoneCaldera mapisn’t the only big change coming with the update. Players will notice some fundamental differences with how the game works, like with loadouts. Previously, being successful inCall of Duty: Warzonemeant buying a loadout drop as quickly as possible, but now players have to wait for the first free loadout drop before they are able to purchase one of their own. While this may seem like a small change on paper, it will force players to adopt new strategies in the early moments of any givenWarzonematch.
Another big change is coming to theCall of Duty: WarzoneGulag. Previously, winning the Gulag match meant respawning with only the starter pistol at one’s disposal, but with the Caldera update,Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers will respawn with the weapons they were using in the Gulag. This too should shake upWarzonestrategies quite a bit.
Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 1 integration withVanguardkicks off soon, so fans don’t have to wait much longer to see how all these changes and the new Pacific map play out.
