Heading into the Halloween season,anime streaming giant Crunchyrollis planning on curating a special collection for the spookiest time of year. Beginning on October 1st through the month of October, various supernatural and horror-themed anime are going to be featured in a free to stream collection open to any member with a free account on Crunchyroll’s service. While Crunchyroll has been known for its free ad-supported offerings for a while, the Halloween collection is set to feature twenty different anime series that are specially curated to fit with the season.
The series selected for the Halloween lineup represent a wide range of monsters, ghosts, ghouls and more from recent years.The roster of monsters and creaturesrepresented in this lineup is no less creatively diverse than the number of anime studios creating these shows across multiple eras of fandom. There’s more than a few different monsters going bump in the night.
