Earlier today, Microsoft made a major mistake when it accidentally turned on the store page forCrysis Remasteredahead of itsfull reveal tomorrow. On the page itself, fans were treated to a myriad of details about the game, including its supposed release date. One thing of note, however, is that the page features the first look at the game itself in the form of screenshots, although any attempt to get a detailed look at them is futile at this point.
The news comes by the way of Kotaku, who first noticed the screenshots on theCrysis Remasteredpage and uploaded a screen capture of the gallery to its site.

When the screenshot was taken, there seemed to be only three separate screenshots uploaded on the Microsoft Store; a small number considering the game is getting its full reveal tomorrow. Of course, given the fact that the page is taken down at this point means any attempt to blow each individual picture up is impossible.
However, zooming in on each photo in the screenshot reveals a remarkable level of detail. The water and lighting effects in particular look absolutely gorgeous. Comparing the screenshots to the original game exemplifies just how far this version is from the original 2007 version. Given how pretty the game looks on Xbox One, it’ll be interesting to see just how downgraded theNintendo Switch versionis, given its lower processing power.
Of course, three screenshots at the end of the day is nothing. Longtime fans of the series have been eager to see more sinceCrysis Remastered’s announcementback in April. Luckily they won’t have to wait long, as the developer previously announced that a gameplay reveal would be happening tomorrow, June 02, 2025. Hopefully, fans will be able to get HD versions of the previously mentioned screenshots as well.
All in all,Crysis Remasteredis shaping up to be one of themore detailed remastered games, almost riding the line of a full-blown remake in ways. While nothing seems to be changing story-wise, it seems like everything’s been created for the ground up, which can only be a good thing. Of course, only time will tell if that’s truly the case.
Crysis Remasteredis rumored to be released on June 05, 2025, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
