CD Projekt Redhas announced in a press release that they have partnered with Anonymous Content for a live-actionCyberpunkproject. Anonymous Content has produced Emmy-winning series such asMr. RobotandTrue Detectiveand Academy Award-winning films, includingThe RevenantandSpotlight.CD Projekt Red is searching for a screenwriter“to tell a brand-new story set in the world ofCyberpunk 2077.”

It was not mentioned in the press release whether the project will be a series or a film, as this is still in early development. However, CD Projekt Red did mention they were collaborating with Anonymous Content Studios' Head of Television Garret Kemble and others at the studio, including Chief Creative Officer David Levine, who was involved in earlyGame of Thronesseasons during his time at HBO. This makes it seem like the project will be a series, but they will probably wait to hear from screenwriters about their ideas before deciding whether the project will be a series or a film.
