Eddie’s Toolbox can be found near the very beginning ofDead Island 2in Emma Jaunt’s mansion. Her white mansion, located in the Bel-Air area, is where players willmeet the supportingDead Island 2castand the general setup for the game.
Players will be able to find Eddie’s Toolbox once Jaunt’s assistant Michael lets players out the back door, and the box will be located on the back of an open pickup truck in the driveway.Like other keys inDead Island 2, the Landscaper’s Keys required to open the toolbox can be found by defeating a specific enemy.
The Landscaper’s Keys are located at Colt Swanson’s mansion, the giant orange house that neighbors Emma Jaunt’s residence in Bel-Air. Players should be familiar with the house as it is the first location that can be explored after the introduction toDead Island 2.
The keys can only be earned there after defeating the zombie known asGreen Thumb Eddie. The name will appear above the enemy’s health bar. Although, Green Thumb Eddie will only appear after players have completed the 20th main story mission, Boardwalking Dead, where players defeat the boss enemy Butcho the Clown, at Venice Beach.
Green Thumb Eddie is a Butcher,an Apex zombiethat can deal a lot of damage and regenerate its own health. One tip is to attack Eddie once he starts healing and keep attacking him once knocked down on the groundto get critical hits. Defeating Eddie will drop the Landscaper’s Keys, and players can return to Eddie’s Toolbox next door to unlock it and receive a reward.
