Gamers responded well to the post, thanking the developer for the release of the game. It’s an undeniably impressive achievement for the game, and although it’s unconfirmed if these numbers include Xbox Game Pass players, it likely does.Deathloopjoined Xbox Game Pass late last year, making the game more accessible for players following Microsoft’s acquisition of publisher Bethesda.

As part of the post, theDeathloopaccount also revealed some interesting statistics about players' in-game habits. In particular,Deathloopplayers have fired enough bullets to stretch around the world 3.2 times, and the mostdeadly area in-game is Updaamwith 35,548,435 deaths in total. 35 million deaths may seem like a lot, but with five million players, the numbers do make sense. Taht doesn’t make them any less interesting, though.

Deathloop’s initial launch was almost a year and a half ago, but fans are already wanting more from Arkane Studios, with the game having franchise potential. There were rumors a few months ago that aDeathloopsequel was in development, although these remain unconfirmed. If this recent player milestone is anything to go by, the game has performed well, especially for a brand-new IP, which is always a risk in a world of sequels and remakes.

Deathloopis available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
