Destiny 2’s Season of the Haunted takes place on the Moon and aboard the Leviathan, Calus' planet-eating ship that was once the host to multiple Raids before being vaulted. The locations onboard the ship are familiar because they are the same as the ones from the oldDestiny 2Raids, but they are different when it comes to the environment and the enemies found there. How to Get Opulent Keys
Opulent Keys are items exclusive to Season of the Haunted, and playerscan only hold one of them at any given time, even if they come in multiple variations. There are currently two ways of getting Opulent Keys inDestiny 2.

The first method is quite straightforward, as it requires players tocomplete the introductory mission called The Leviathan Returns. This is not bestowed upon players as soon as they log into the game, but rather it can be acquired after completing the first few quests to obtain theseasonal artifact for Season of the Haunted.
In order to complete the first step of the quest,Destiny 2playerswill need tocomplete multiple tiers of the Nightmare Containment activityin the Castellum area, and then explore the Pleasure Gardens and the Royal Pools. Here, players will be tasked with completing patrols or opening chests to forward the mission’s progress bar.
At the end of the quest, players cango back to the HELM and interact with the Crown of Sorrow to get a guaranteed Opulent Key.
The second way to obtain Opulent Keys is to complete full tiers of theNightmare Containment activity, which will spawn a loot chest at the end of the final tier. Players have a chance of getting an Opulent Key every time they open the chest.
Where to Find Opulent Chests - Pleasure Gardens
Opulent Chests can be found in multiple locations in the Pleasure Gardens and the Royal Pools area of theDerelict Leviathan.
To access the Pleasure Gardens,Destiny 2players must go to the Castellum area where a big portal with several pillars stands. They will need to enter the hallway and follow the path until the loading zone changes to Pleasure Gardens, where the “dog encounter” of the old Leviathan Raid took place.
There are multiple locations for Opulent Chests in the area, and players will get an indication of where to go byreading the text on the Opulent Key.

For example, there is an Opulent Key that requires players to find an Opulent Chest near a trusted companion, which is the statue of the Cabal War Beast in the room.
Where to Find Opulent Chests - Royal Pools
Similar to the Pleasure Gardens, Royal Pools also have multiple Opulent Chests to discover.
To access theLeviathan ship’s Royal Pools area,Destiny 2players will have to look for the hallway on the top left part of the room when spawning in Castellum. They must follow the path until the loading zone changes to Royal Pools.
Destiny 2players will again need to read the text on the Opulent Key for a clue on where to look, with an example being an Opulent Key that states “among stately columns,” which will be near the actual pools in the area.
Other Opulent Chests are found nearby, but they can only be opened if players have the key needed for those specific ones.
