SomeDestiny 2players have discovered an incredible Legendary Shard farming method that most high-level players should be able to do. Due to its live service nature,Destiny 2undergoes many changes from one season to the next, but sometimes bugs occur that players can capitalize on in different ways, with this farm potentially linked to an update.TheDestiny 2: Lightfallstoryline continues to unfold as Bungie regularly updates the FPS, with the latest chapter continuing to focus on Strand aspects and the moon Titan.Destiny 2Season 21kicked off on May 23, and with it came several balancing changes, content additions, and a battle pass full of goodies for players to unlock. With Legendary Shards being a very coveted resource inDestiny 2, some players may flock to this farming method before Bungie patches it out in the future.RELATED:Destiny 2 Players Aren’t Happy About Jolt NerfTwitter user Leopardstealth is among theDestiny 2players that have discovered an incredibly helpful Legendary Shard farming method that can be done by speaking to Ikora at the Tower. According to Leopardstealth, any of the three quests thatDestiny 2’s Ikoraoffers will work for the farm, but players will have to reach step four for it to work properly. Upon reaching step four of Exalting the Flame, Taming the Storm, or any of the other quests that Ikora has, players must return to the NPC, talk to her, then immediately delete the quest from their menu screen.

Once players have deleted theDestiny 2questfrom their menu, they can speak to Ikora again to receive an unlimited number of exotics which can be deleted for the important Legendary Shard resource. As Ikora continues to reward theDestiny 2player, there seems to be a bug that allows the NPC to have unlimited items but prevents the character from marking the quest as completed like they normally do. Because Leopardstealth’s Taming the Storm never completes, the player can click on the armor being offered as much as they want in order to fill their inventory for disassembling for parts later.

Given thatBungie often patchesDestiny 2to fix farms like the Legendary Shard one highlighted by Leopardstealth, players may only have a few days to try the method before it’s gone. Although Leopardstealth’s trick requires thatDestiny 2players reach step four of whichever quest they select from Ikora, most level-capped players should be able to reach the stage of the objective quite easily.

Destiny 2is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
