After the identity of the third party hunting the Relics of Nezarecwas revealed last weekinDestiny 2, Week 7 of Season 18 slows down the pace with a more standard seasonal weekly story quest.Destiny 2players hoping that this week’s story quest will be as jam-packed with revelations as the previous two weeks will be disappointed. This is the second to last story quest for Sails of the Shipstealer, and everything that is happening now will set the scene for the end of the season and the start of Season 19. Here is what players need to do to complete this week’s story quest.

Use the Star Chart
Just like with previous weeks, the first step is to return to the Star Chart located at the H.E.L.M. There,Destiny 2players will get a message from Drifter who warns them to be careful. Now that the majority of the relics have been found, it is only a matter of time before Eramis does something crazy to try and steal them back. Once Drifter is done talking, players will get the next step of the quest, which isto do an Expedition activity.
Loot Buried Treasure
Once again,Destiny 2players will need to restore a treasure map before they go do an Expedition. If they are shorton Map Fragments and Treasure Coordinates, they will need to get those first before they can complete this step. For that reason, stocking up on both resources beforehand is a good idea. Equipping mods to deal with Overload and Unstoppable Champions is a good idea as well.
Aside from the usual objective of looting a buried treasure chest, players will also need to get 100 kills withSeason of Plunder weapons. This may sound like a lot of kills, but thankfullyDestiny 2players can get bonus progress by using Season of Plunder weapons to get kills in Ketchcrash and Expedition activities. As such, it is very easy to get both objectives accomplished with only one match of Expedition.

Complete Pirate Hideout: The Scrapworker
After both objectives have been completed,Destiny 2players will be able to go to the next Pirate Hideout. While it is generally a good idea to beabove 1570 Power for Pirate Hideouts, it is almost mandatory for this week’s Pirate Hideout. Right from the start,Destiny 2players are warned that the Pirate Lord they are about to fight loves to use traps and Shanks.
Right from the start of the Pirate Hideout,Destiny 2players will be swarmed with a large amount of Shanks. To make matters worse, many of them will be Exploder Shanks and Tracer Shanks. So players will need to be aware of their surroundings and keep an eye out for Exploder Shanks while also having somewhere to take cover as they get shot at from every conceivable angle.

How to Remove Barriers
This Pirate Hideout has a unique mechanic where players will need to gather Bypass Codes or Bypass Code Fragments from large Shanks. Using these codes will allowDestiny 2players to bypass energy shields. This mechanic also comes into play when players finally encounter Ithyks, the Scrapworker. Ithyks is smallerthan previous Pirate Lords encountered, which makes her more difficult to hit, and she will always attempt to run to cover to avoid being shot at.
While also fighting the boss,Destiny 2players will need to watch out for all the Shanks that will be spawning throughout the fight. Many Exploder Shanks will spawn and attempt to surround players. Having a decent add (additional enemies) control weapon is very helpful during this fight, along with keeping away from Exploder Shanks as much as possible.

As the boss gets lower in health, she will hide behind a shield. Like earlier in the Hideout,Destiny 2players will need to grab a Bypass Code from one of the large Shanks and use it to draw out the boss. This process repeats until she dies and then players can loot the Relic of Nezarec.
Go to the Ether Tank
After grabbing the relic, the next step will requireDestiny 2players to talk to Spider at the Ether Tank. In light of claiming another relic, Spider reflects on his past and how he once was called Rakis. After the conversation is over, players will get to choose an Engram that will result in a Red Border weapon that can help players getcloser to making crafted versionsof Season of Plunder weapons. After that, the quest will update and the next step will be to wait until next week while Mithrax and Eido examine the newly acquired relic.
Destiny 2is now available for Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
