Players are split on whether theNo Time To ExplainCatalystis worth it or not depending on how the weapon is used. Ultimately though it gives players options and does help with burst DPS. To illustrate this it seemed important to include details about how best to use theNo Time To ExplainCatalyst effect. What It Does
TheNo Time to ExplainCatalyst doesn’t enhance the gun directly, but it does provide the perk Blast From The Side which makes the time portal more potent. With this effect, projectiles will fire more frequently from the time portal created byTime-Slip.
Time-Sliptriggers whenever the player accumulates 10 stacks ofRewind Again, which is a result of precision shots and firing on slowed or frozen combatants.Time-Slipwill open a small portal that causes aNo Time To Explainweapon in an alternate timeline to fire autonomously on the opponent.

With Blast From The Side, these projectiles will be fired at a quicker rate, which increases the amount of damage while the time portal is active. If the player can keep it open via precision hits, this can lead to a tremendous amount of damage.

How To Find It
Players receive theNo Time To ExplainCatalyst as a reward for successfully completing the Soon quest. They can get this quest from the Exo Stranger near the Beyond campsite on Europa. There are two main objectives that players must complete during the questline.

Once these stages of the quest are complete, the player can return to the Exo Stranger and receive theNo Time To ExplainCatalyst.
Upgrading
The Catalyst can be further enhanced via an upgrade. Players can obtain this upgrade by defeating 700 enemies using the weaponNo Time To Explain. It doesn’t matter who the enemies are or where they’re killed. Just eliminate 700 using theNo Time To Explainweapon itself or the time portal.
Players can also obtain these kills retroactively. If the player has racked up any kills with theNo Time To Explainweapon prior to obtaining theNo Time To ExplainCatalyst, they’ll count towards the 700. A great strategy is to use this weapon during the Soon quest.
Other Tips
As soon as the player gets theNo Time To Explainweapon it’s highly recommended to roll right into obtaining the Catalyst. This is mainly out of convenience, as the player will be receiving the weapon from the Exo Stranger. It also gives the player time to get a feel for the weapon while completing the quest.

When it comes time to grind out 700 kills, it’s a solid idea to find a farming spot. There are a variety of examples that work — oneplayer found a new farming spotin the Cosmodrome. TheNo Time To Explainweapon is fantastic for carving waves of enemies in PVE content and works great in PVP as well. Those 700 kills shouldn’t take too long.
Advice On Using TheNo Time To ExplainCatalyst
Generally speaking, theNo Time To Explainwith the Catalyst installed is more of a PVE weapon. It has strong enough stats to be viable in PVP, but that’s about it. Getting enough precision shots against other players makesRewind Againa rare perk to trigger. The Time Portal also doesn’t come out to play often enough in a normal match to be of much help.
PVE is an entirely different story. It’s fairly easy to keep the Time Portal open almost all the time adding to overall DPS. It’s also possible to keepRewind Againactivated to ensure every precision shot is ammo free. For players with decent accuracy and the ability to avoid death, this means they won’t burn through ammo using this weapon, which can be great for certain runs and farming sessions.
Basically, the player wants to focus on precision shots and keeping enemies locked down via Stasis. The full-auto feature from theNo Time To ExplainCatalyst Effectshould only be used against bosses or to keep hordes at bay. If done correctly there should be plenty of ammo for these moments.
