Summary
Blizzard has released the update 1.2.1 forDiablo 4across all platforms. This update brings some substantial fixes and additions almost a week afterDiablo 4Season of Bloodwas released, which introduced a plethora of changes to the game that Blizzard detailed in two different livestreams.
Diablo 4Season 2 has proven to be a major inflection point for the game considering the changes made in the Season 1 update left many fans disappointed. The situation had become so grave that players were able tofarm PvP areas inDiablo 4because there were hardly any other players in the game, primarily due to a lack of content. However, Season of Blood has managed to overturn the situation and has seemingly brought the game back to life with plenty of exciting additions, which also include 5 new endgame bosses. Now, with the latest update, Blizzard has seemingly fixed some annoying issues that were disrupting the gameplay experience.

A post on the officialDiablo 4blog explained the changes made to the game with update 1.2.1. For instance, the game now has a “Refund All” button for the Paragon Board, which was a highly-requested community feature as players found themselves reallocating their Paragon Points multiple times during a season. The update has also added an unkillable “Training Dummy” in an underground room in Kyovashad for players to test the damage capability of their builds. Aside from this, Blood Wells now also drop more piles of Potent Blood which increases the average amount dropped.
Additional tooltips and information have also been added to the Vampiric Powers upgrade screen to make it easier for players to understand the amount of Pacts required and the activation cost for these abilities. An annoying bug also prevented players from getting the Reins of the Bloody Liquid Steed Mount after defeatingUber Lilith inDiablo 4, which has now been fixed.

Despite the major turnaround,Diablo 4Season 2’s launch was delayedafter being marred by technical issues. Additionally, the game’s Steam launch was also met with a barrage of negative reviews, which raised questions about the state ofDiablo 4. To top it off, Blizzard also had to take down an error-filled Season of Blood promotional video, which the community found to be hilarious.
All the initial setbacks aside, the overall community sentiment regardingDiablo 4Season of Blood is fairly positive. Players are happy with the changes made to several aspects of the game, many of which were implemented directly based on community feedback.
