How to Complete Leaving the Woods Behind in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Before saviors can begin the Leaving the Woods Behind quest, they will have to fulfill a few prerequisites.
Talk to Kristoff
Upon talking to Kristoff, Dreamers will find out that the mountain man didn’t take a shower while he was living in the woods. Therefore, he will ask players to help him make soap and further explain the procedure.
Collect the Burned Logs and Craft Ashes
To make soap, players will need to get burned logs and then craft them into ashes. During the conversation, Kristoff reveals that he set up a campfireby the entrance to the Frosted Heights biomeduring his time in the woods. What players need to do is collect charred logs from there and grind them into ashes at a crafting station.
Once done, head to a nearby stove and boil the ashes into Lye. As always,players will need a piece of coalto begin the cooking process, which can be mined from rock spots around the valley.
Return to Kristoff and Talk to Maui
With Lye in hand, head back to Kristoff and give him the requested item. He will thank players and ask them to get the next ingredient, oil. To proceed with this part of the quest, players will need to consultMauiand ask him about the specific oil he uses that keeps his hair so silky.
Upon asking, Maui will reveal that coconut oil is the secret behind his stylish hair, so players will have to make soap using the following materials:
Deliver the Carrot Soap to Kristoff
After collecting the aforementioned ingredients, head to a crafting station and make coconut soap. Once crafted, deliver it to Kristoff and talk to him one final time to complete the quest.
