Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotmay be revealing some new information on its upcoming Card Battle mode according to credibleDragon Ballreporter, Dragon Ball Hype.Every other leakthat has come from this source has proven to be accurate, so the odds of this new information surfacing soon are pretty high.

For those that didn’t hear about this previously, some V Jump scans showed that some kind of Card Battle mode would be added toDragon Ball Z: Kakarot, but fans were surprised when it did not appear in the first DLC or in the large update which accompanied it.

Dragon Ball Hype also shares that the Card Battle mode will be an online mode mainly, adding a facet of multiplayer to what until now has been anentirely single player game. Exact details of what this new Card Battle mode will look like remain unknown, but that may change soon.

It’s worth noting that Dragon Ball Hype’s tweet is much less certain this time, as rather than saying exactly what is going to happen he instead says “Hopefully we will get some new info…” meaning he isn’t certain. Still, it seems likely that something will come out of this, with Dragon Ball Hype suggesting that the leaks will come out sometime between June 15th and 18th.Additionally, the previous leak about theTao Pai Pai Pillar info reveal has been confirmed, so fans can expect that to come soon as well.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotlaunched to great success, with fans regaling the game for its faithful retelling of the story ofDragon Ball Z. Unfortunately, itspost launch supporthas been less than great, with DLC few and far between and information about the game’s future even less scarce. For the most part, these sorts of leaks have been the only way fans have been able to keep up with the game, and that frustration shows in the comments. Though people are thankful for Dragon Ball Hype keeping them in the loop, many feel annoyed about the way Bandai Namco Entertainment has handled the game since its launch.

Hopefully the Card Battle mode revitalizes the game, giving fanssomething to do after beating Beerusand while waiting for the second DLC. Only time will tell, as there are many that believe the Card Battle mode will be more of a gimmick than anything, but depending on how it is handled it could be a lot of fun.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotis available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
