Players are interested to crack openKeys from the Golden Vaultand see what’s inside. The previous anthologies weresome ofDungeons and Dragonsbest-written and most inclusive adventures, so fans are hopingKeys from the Golden Vaultis just as good. Many players also couldn’t help but notice the thematic similarity between this new adventure anthology and theDungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thievesmovie coming to theaters at the end of March.
That said,Dungeons and Dragonsmay have trouble selling many copies ofKeys to the Golden Vault. Wizards of the Coast was embroiled in a controversy surrounding the future of the Open Game License inDungeons and Dragonsfor most of January. While it recently relented,promising to preserve theDungeons and DragonsOGLas is, it lost a great deal of trust with the community in the process. Some players may not be quick to forgive Wizards of the Coast, and sales forKeys to the Golden Vaultmay suffer for it. Nevertheless, players who are interested in purchasing the sourcebook can pre-order it onD&D Beyondor through a local game store for $30.
