Summary
House of the Dragonseason 2 teaser trailer has made it amply clear that Daemon Targaryen will avenge the death of his stepson, Lucerys Velaryon. Besides Rhaenyra’s grief, Alicent’s desires, dragon warfare, and the obvious war politics, the teaser trailer has hidden surprises for viewers obsessed with lore and character stories.
HBO has adapted more ofGeorge R. R. Martin’s source material for television, and new details emerge that indicate that this kin strife has spread out across the length and breadth of Westeros. So far,House of the Dragonhas proved to be a good adaptation, and these easter eggs are proof of why.

Aegon II’s Stone Ball
InHouse of the Dragon, Viserys' councilors had a marble dish in front of them, and they each placed a different colored stone ball in it when they arrived to attend a small council meeting. Moreover, a large dish, seen at the center of the table contained markers of the councilors missing from these sessions.
According to Ryan Condal, who previously served as co-showrunner with Miguel Sapochnik, the councilors used small stone balls to mark their attendance and presence at the small council meetings. Condal said toTHR:

Everybody shows up for work and they ‘punch in.’ I thought it was really cool. It’s a way of visualizing the set formality of the small council chamber. It’s enjoyable; we should have things that we like in this world.
The small stone balls provided an element of reality and gave context to the scenes.House of the Dragonseason 2 teaser trailer shows Aegon II’s stone ball rotating around the marble dish, which draws a sharp contrast with how Viserys' ball sat. This tiny detail, first and foremost, conveys the turbulence and chaosthe Seven Kingdomsare in. The visual imagery is of war and the restlessness of the Greens' unworthy king.

Houses Rosby And Stokeworth Make Appearances
Infantrymen of two Houses namely Rosby and Stokeworth of Crownlands also appear inHouse of the Dragonseason 2 teaser trailer. The Rosby infantrymen establish their identity in a certain battle with their shields painted with the Rosby coat of arms, which is three red chevronels on ermine. Similarly, soldiers holding the shields of Stokeworth coat of arms - a white lamb holding a golden goblet against a green backdrop, are also seen.
Lord Rosby initially sided with the Blacks in the Dance, but during Ser Criston Cole’s tenure as Hand, he joined the Greens to avoid execution. Lord Stokeworth also joined Aegon II’s faction out of fear of execution and tried to defect to the Blacks after the fall of King’s Landing. For now, it remains to be seen how wellHouse of the Dragontells the saga of noble Houses in the Dance.

A Bracken Soldier Draws Sword
House Bracken is an ancient House in the Riverlands that swears fealty to the Tullys of Riverrun. The teaser trailer also features a snippet of a Bracken soldier who angrily draws his sword. The soldier wears brown and is conspicuous by the Bracken coat of arms - a red stallion on a golden escutcheon.
The Brackens are known for their age-old feud with the neighboring Blackwoods. Both Houses look down on one other and consider each other usurpers. The Brackens declare for the Greens inthe Dance of the Dragons, andHouse of the Dragonseason 1, episode 4 “King of the Narrow Sea,” features a face-to-face confrontation between the two feuding Houses at Storm’s End. Princess Rhaenyra hears marriage proposals from an endless queue of suitors all over the Realm and one of them happens to be a Blackwood child. Rhaenyra’s host, Lord Boremund Baratheon, describes his House as:

The Blackwoods are an ancient House with a formidable army. In the Riverlands, they once ruled as kings.
Just as this child begins to present himself, Jerrel Bracken, present in the audience, heckles him. Rhaenyra leaves the room, and the child slays his Bracken rival.
The Smallfolk Take To The Streets
Alicent Hightower’s run for cover inHouse of the Dragonseason 2 teaser trailer is acanon throwback to the timethe smallfolk of King’s Landingattacked Joffrey Baratheon inGame of Thrones. The smallfolk riot because they suffer due to the miseries brought about by the War of the Five Kings onThrones.
Alicent’s guards protect her from a mob in the same way as guards onGame of Thronesact in order to safely escort the royal ladies, Sansa, and Cersei to the Red Keep. There is absolute chaos in the scene, and the Dance has a bearing on all sections of society and not just the Noble and Great Houses in the realm.
