There was a time not long ago that believers ofElden Ringcouldn’t even be certain that the game existed. After it was revealed at E3 2019, the studio behind it, FromSoftware, went completely silent. Despite this lack of communication or news of any sort, the fanbase kept the fire alive, and the game even earnedmost anticipated game at The Game Awards. Now that fans finally have an actual release date for the game, it’s starting to set in that players will finally get to experience it in just a few short months. To help solidify that feeling, fans can also go look at theElden RingSteam page, which just went live. Alongside a description of the game, it also has a collection of screenshots.

It should be said now that there isn’t anything necessarily new on this Steam page, but it is a handy place to find all of the promotional material in one place. Players can watch the recent gameplay trailer, view the promotional screenshots, and even read a short “about this game” section to get some more insight onElden Ring.

Of the 19 screenshots on the game’s main page, many of them are taken directly from thenewElden Ringgameplay trailer. That said, there are a few that players might not be familiar with, so it’s definitely worth looking through them. Some fans were concerned about the game’s graphics after watching the gameplay trailer, but these screenshots are as beautiful as ever. They will help give players an idea of what kinds of places they’ll be exploring and enemies they’ll be facing.

One interesting screenshot shows off some kind of crystal cavern. This location didn’t appear in either of the two trailers, instead only being shown off as a promotional image. The glowing purple crystals are likely more than just ambience, and as with most things in FromSoftware games, they will probably serve some purpose or try to kill the player. There’s also a nice screenshot ofeveryone’s favoriteElden Ringmonster, Pot Boy. While an official name for this creature has not yet been revealed, Pot Boy is the affectionate nickname given to them by the community.

In the “About This Game” section of page, players can read a little bit of fluff about the game’s lore. There are sections about the open world environment, character creation and customization, and even a bit aboutElden Ring’s asynchronous online features. Players wanting to see more of these screenshots or simply relish in the fact that this Steam page is real and not a fake like so many before it should check out the link below.
