There are some key things you should know about this battle if you want to succeed, so here are sometipsto conquer this frustrating enemy.

How to Beat Eterllick the Tracker in The First Descendant

Calling of the Descendant - The Forgottense Operation

Before starting the Operation, it’s imperative that you go into the customization menus and make sure your guns are as powerful as they can be and the modules you have equipped are up to par. If you’re not higher-leveled enough ortrying to do this Solo, you might have issues with the battle.

We found ourselves having better luck taking him down with a powerful shotgun or assault rifle. Honestly, a sniper rifle works fine here, too –just ensure the weapons are strong.

There are two key things to note when it comes tobeating Eterllick.

The first thing is that once you and your team deplete Eterllick’s health bar for the first time, he’ll power back up and come back with three floating red balls around him. If you don’t take these balls down, Eterllick will not take any damage from your weapons.

The thing is,these red balls will come back over and over again unless you destroy them fast. If you break one ball and then take a long time to take care of the rest, Eterllick will bring them back. If you’re playing with random people and not communicating over voice chat, doing this might prove to be a tad tricky, but if you and your mates havestrong weapons, the balls should be able to be destroyed in just a few seconds.

However, this is not the only tactic the boss will use to protect its precious health bar. Soon after, Eterllick will put a protective blue barrier around himself to guard against all damage.

They may be hard to notice, but if you look closely, tiny shields are moving around the blue barrier, and you and yourfellow Descendantsmust shoot them to get rid of the barrier. You can see how the shields look in the picture below:

Once you deplete Eterllick’s health bar three times, the boss will finally be destroyed, and the Operation will end successfully. If you head back to Albion and meet up withAlphaat HQ, you’ll gain access to the next Battlefield of Sterile Land,Ironworks, which is in the upper-right-hand corner.
