In real life, International Museum Day is meant to raise awareness of museums all around the world and their exhibits due to their contributions toward societal development. International Museum Day will be falling on Monday, May 18th this year. While it only lasts one day in real life, players inAnimal Crossing: New Horizonswill have the chance to complete the tasks related to the day for two weeks, similar to the May Day event’s extended timescale.

While in-game, the International Museum Day Event will run from May 18th to May 31st. Talking to Blathers during this time will show players that the museum is running a Stamp Rally for the holiday, and completing this stamp rally will net players multiple possible rewards. to take part in this event, players must haveAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsupdatedto version 1.2.0 b. To update the game, players must have an internet connection with their Nintendo Switch either through WiFi or Ethernet connection.
When taking part in the stamp rally, players will go through the museum and visiting the three stamp stations available in the museum’s exhibits. They can be in any room and will be random every time it is completed. Looking at players' stamp cards will give hints to where the stamp stations are, making the event a little museum-wide scavenger hunt. These plaques are the exact same plaques that can be seen by the entrance ways to each of the exhibits, so these are great for players who are creating their own museums or exhibits in their homes. The International Museum Day Event can be easily completed within one day.Animal Crossing: New Horizons' art exhibit is not requiredto have, only the museum proper is needed. Players also don’t have to worry about their donations in order to complete the event either. However, having more donations makes for a far more aesthetically pleasing stroll through the museum.
