Since its initial launch back in October,Far Cry 6has cultivated an incredible amount of popularity. With expansive, vibrant environments, a cacophony of different weapons and equipment to select from, and various NPCs for players to interact with,Far Cry 6certainly has a lot to offer its player base. Now, it seems, players will be receiving even more content to enjoy within the game.
Right beforeFar Cry 6was released, it was revealed that theDLC campaigns would feature playableFar Cryvillains, but in addition to the DLC campaigns, additional content would also be made available periodically as the months went on. This latest piece of additional content has recently released and it features an iconic Hollywood actor that perfectly matches the tone and setting ofFar Cry 6.

Over on YouTube, Ubisoft released a trailer that highlights a new mission inFar Cry 6that features Danny Trejo. Ubisoft hadaccidentally released the Danny Trejo DLC missionback in November, but quickly patched it out. Now, players will once again be able to enjoy the mission in its entirety, in addition to a number of other pieces of content, such as a new vehicle.
It’s nice to see that Ubisoft has managed to provide additional content for players to enjoy long after the release of the base version ofFar Cry 6. Following theVaas Insanity DLC, players have had a lot of new content to look forward to, on top of the release of the Danny Trejo mission. A portion of which will undoubtedly add a fresh spin on theFar Cryformula.
One piece of DLC content thatFar Cry 6players have been looking forward to trying is theStranger Thingscrossover DLC. It will be interesting to see how Ubisoft manages to spliceFar Crymechanics into aStranger Thingssetting and if the DLC somehow relates back to what occurs within the world ofFar Cry 6.
In any case, there’s certainly a lot of exciting things on the horizon as far asFar Cry 6is concerned. The upcomingPagan Min: Control DLCwill have players returning to the world and story ofFar Cry 4. While Pagan Min tends to get outshined by Vaas, many players cited Pagan Min as being one of the best aspects ofFar Cry 4, so hopefully the DLC campaign shines new light on the character.
