Summary
Over the last seven years or so,Fortnitehas grown from a simple battle royale, to an entire platform in and of itself. Now,Fortniteisn’t just home to Zero Build and Battle Royale, but a wealth of extra game modes, including a kart racer, aRock Band-like rhythm game, and theMinecraft-like survival modeLEGO Fortnite, all of which are available for no extra charge. But those modes wouldn’t have seen the light of day ifFortnitewasn’t such a global hit to begin with, and a good deal of that success is tied to its countless number of collaborations.
Beginning with the Marvel Cinematic Universe back in 2018,Fortnitehas crossed over with just about every popular franchise that most general audiences can think of. Marvel, DC,Star Wars,Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,Halo,Resident Evil,God of War, andTheWalking Deadhave all crossed over withFortnite, and that’s somehow just scratching the surface. More recently,Fortnitehas dipped its toes into the world of anime, deliveringskins based onAttack on Titan,Dragon Ball,My Hero Academia, and a few others, and while that’s a great start, there are plenty more anime out there that would be perfectly suited for aFortnitecollaboration.

Anime Skins That Should Come to Fortnite
One Piece
With a predicted 523.2 million copies in circulation as of the end of 2023, over 1000 anime episodes currently out, and a recent Netflix show doing very well, it feels safe to say thatOne Pieceis one of the most popular IP in the world right now, and it’s honestly shocking that it hasn’t come toFortniteyet. With a vibrant and bright art style and some suitably over-the-top character designs,One Piece’s Straw Hat Pirates are already perfectly suited forFortnite’s aesthetic. Thankfully, there are some pretty heavy rumors thatOne Piecewill be coming toFortnitevery soon, though this wouldn’t be the first time aFortnitexOne Piececollab has been leaked and not come to fruition.
Cowboy Bebop
A bit of an older anime, but a classic for a reason,Cowboy Bebopwould be another great pick forFortnitecrossover skins. It’s often been the case thatFortnitewill bring over three or four characters with each of its anime collabs, and that’s the ideal number forCowboy Bebop, with its primary cast consisting of just four crewmates. The recent Netflix adaptation may not have fared too well, but theoriginalCowboy Bebopanimeremains a favorite of so many.
Demon Slayer
A fairly new kid on the block,Demon Slayeris another incredibly popular anime and manga series that feels like it should have been inFortnitealready due to its striking art style. With a fourth anime season set to air in just a few months, there’s never been a better time for aDemon SlayerxFortnitecollaboration, with Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Inosuke being obvious first picks for crossover skins.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure
One of the most iconic anime and manga series of the last few decades,JoJo’s Bizarre Adventureis still running strong, with its ninth part currently being written. Though the anime is on a bit of a hiatus, there’s never a bad time for aFortnitexJoJo’s Bizarre Adventurecollaboration, with characters likeJoseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Giorno Giovanna, and of course, Dio Brando all being anime icons that would bring some much-appreciated flair toFortnite’s multiplayer.
