Fortniteis rolling out a fresh batch of quest challenges for players to complete to earn large amounts of XP. Offering new ones a bit early this week, one such quest tasks players with scouting one of the UFO crash sites on the island.
The reason for the unusual timing comes courtesy ofthe highly-anticipatedNarutocrossover, which officially launches today. The crossover event adds the entirety of Team 7, including sensei Kakashi Hatake as a new NPC, who is also the dealer of this particular quest.

How to Scout a UFO Crash Site inFortnite
In order to begin the quest, players must first talk to Kakashi to receive his punchcard. However, given his somewhat obscure location, Kakashi isn’t the easiest to manually find. The copy ninja can be found milling about the grouping of rocks on the cliff north of the southernmost Guardian Tower, located in the lake north of Misty Meadows. Drop in to the area to begin the first stage of the Kakashi questline, which will be to scout one of the UFO crash sites. While any crash site on the island is valid, the most convenient location by far is due directly east.
After talking to Kakashi, players will want to head towards the top of the waterfall to the east. A glowing blue time trial icon can be found at the edge of the cliff, which activates a series of timed orbs. Players should immediately head to the bottom of the waterfall towards the orbs, which are easily identifiable by the glowing pillars of light. Several of the orbs are within the crash site’s slipstream, but all can be found in the general vicinity. Given the overall time constraints,using one of the Shadow Stonesis highly recommended for better mobility and stealth against other questing opponents.
WhileNaruto’s Kakashi is certainly the most talked-about NPC, he isn’t the only new non-player character on the island. Rust Lord comes with a set of quests of his own, one of which tasks players with gathering shields from Slurp Barrels. The metallic barrels are generally scattered around most of the named locations, but the most surefire method is tohead to Slurpy Swamp. WithNaruto’s immense popularity amongst the vast majority of gamers, players may want to shield up with Rust Lord’s quest before taking on Kakashi’s.
Once players have collected all of the orbs and successfully scouted a UFO crash site, they can then move on to the next stage of the Kakashi questline;hitting players with Paper Bomb Kunai,Fortnite’s latest weapon.
