Fortnitehas had no shortage of crossover skin additions, though its Marvel content is second-to-none. It appears that a full, Marvel-themed season ofFortnitewas not enough though, as a leak implies that two more heroes are on the way.
According to a new set of leaks, skins based on theDisney+ seriesWandaVisionmay be heading toFortnitesoon. With the MCU show taking the world by storm and keeping fans invested due to its unique premise and dark reveals, it makes sense forFortniteto capitalize on its popularity as soon as possible. ReputableFortniteleaker ShiinaBR has opened a window for the heroes’ debut to be possible, as threeFortnitesets are currently encrypted. With two being hunter sets, fans are theorizing that the third is forWandaVision.

The name of the thirdpiece of leakedFortnitecontentis AcutePanic, something that MCU fan andFortniteplayer Eli associates with the show. While believing it could be Wanda purely because she’s “panicking the whole time” seems like a bit of a stretch, the format used for these encrypted sets matchesWandaVision’s unique title. On top of that, the sheer number of Marvel skins inside the game already would surely make Wanda and her husband Vision feel at home insideFortnite.
IfWandaVisionskins do come, it will be interesting to see what medium they take their inspiration from. Though it would make sense for a properWandaVisionpack to have the designs of theMCUversions of the characters, past Marvel skins have focused on bringing the comic book versions of the heroes to life instead of the on-screen interpretations. Still, withDC’sFortnitecontenthaving a mix of live action and comic-inspired skins, it would be entirely possible for aWandaVisionpack to borrow more from the MCU than past skins have.
Regardless of whether Wanda gets her Scarlet Witch name or costume inFortnite, it now seems possible for the hero to join the game’s massive roster of characters. When she does arrive, it will be interesting to see how Epic Games uses her. While she could just beanotherFortnitecrossover characterthat enters through the Zero Point, Wanda could be used to create a new reality inFortnite— just like she does in her show and in the comics. Allowing for radically different versions of originalFortnitecharacters, plenty of new outfits could come from this alternate reality, making for a fun season of content.
Hopefully, this interpretation of the leak is accurate, as manyfans ofWandaVisionwould surely love to play as the two main characters inside the battle royale game. For now, though,Fortniteplayers are left to theorize about the skin’s existence in the same way fans have been theorizing about the show.
