One of the more bonkers crossovers in recent memory may have gotten started inside ofFortnite.It seems as if aTenetobject has made its way inside of the popular battle royale, pointing to the beginning of a new event forFortnite.
Epic’s multiplayer shooter is known for its myriad of crossovers, includingBorderlands, Batman,andThe Avengers. But when theTenettrailer debuted inFortniteis still surprised many. Christopher Nolan is regarded as one of the better directors of his time, so it seemed a bit odd fo show off brand new footage of his highly anticipated movie inside a battle royale. But it got people talking, and maybe that was the goal.

Just as soon asTenetwas shown inside Fortnite, it was made known that aNolan movie would be shown inside ofFortnitefor free, and the theories began as to if and when moreTenetrelated content would appear inside of the battle royale. That time is now. Players online have found a hidden object that appears to be fromTenet, and when it is found, music starts being played that is also from the trailer.
Along with the in-game item, fans have done some data mining digging and found the object in the files. The triangle looking shape with a hole in it is certainly mysterious, but then again not much is known aboutTenetitself, even though it is perhaps the most highly anticipated movie of the year. Unfortunately, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic,Tenethas been delayed indefinitely.
What exactly the item is, and what aTenetevent inside ofFortnitewould look like, is not yet known. But the crossovers in the past have been extremely creative, including licensed skins, special areas of the map, new game modes, and even theNolan movie night inFortnite, where fans were able to watchInception, The Prestige,orBatman Begins.So time will tell whatTenetlooks like inside ofFortnite.
Thenewest international trailer forTenetgives fans a small hint as to what the mysteries of the movie are about, but the time inversion idea is something that fans will most likely not fully understand until they watch it. Even after one watch, there will probably still be questions, as many fans enjoyed viewingInceptionmultiple times to understand all of the intricate details. Nolan is dead-set on the movie being created for the big screen, so whenever movie theaters are ready again,Tenetwill be there.
