Week 2 ofFortniteis here, and one of the many challenges this week requires players to loot seven SHIELD chests from withinQuinjets scattered around the map. This is actually one of the harder challenges the game has presented fans, as it requires good timing, a little bit of luck, and quite a bit of patience in order to pull off.
Each weekFortniteprovides players with new challenges to complete in order to earn XP for their battle pass. Usually, these are relatively simple things, requiring players to head to a location and then perform an emote or something, but this challenge will call for a little more skill.

As withallFortnitechallenges, players are going to need to be extra careful around the Quinjets when attempting to loot chests. This is especially true this week as there are multiple challenges requiring players to visit one, meaning they will be hot beds for combat between players early on.
The first step of completing this challenge is finding a Quinjet. This is an incredibly easy task as they are marked on the map with big white plane symbols. What’s more, players can also see a purple plume of smoke rising up from the landing sites of Quinjets. In total there arefive Quinjets around the map, each with a SHIELD chest inside. In order to get one step closer to completing the challenge, players will need to locate and loot one of these five chests before any other player does, all while dealing with opposition from players and computer controlled bots.
The best thing to do is to pick the nearest Quinjet and drop right next to it. The jet will be surrounded by Starkbots, further cementing thatFortniteis part of the Marvel universe, that will fire on the player, so it is important to get in the jet quickly and loot the chest. After looting it, it doesn’t matter if the player dies immediately after as the progress towards the challenge will still be recorded. Though it may technically be possible to get more than one SHIELD chest per game, it is highly unlikely given that players are going to be swarming the jets in an attempt to complete the challenge for themselves.
Rinse and repeat this process at least seven times and the challenge should be completed. On the bright side, this challenge does provide a lot of XP towards the player’s battle pass, allowing them tounlock Marvel themed cosmetics inFortnitemuch quicker. It should also be said that SHIELD chests will not spawn when playing on Rumble mode, only on Squads, Duos, and Solo matches.
