Ana’s Sleep Dart ability can be a tricky one to use for someOverwatch 2players, but one player shows off their talent as the hero by using it to incapacitate the enemy Reinhardt even after being launched off the map. The plethora of abilities able to send enemies falling to their doom inOverwatch 2only seems to grow, with such abilities often leading to moments both hilarious and outright impressive.
While Ana’s Sleep Dart is not one of these abilities, its usefulness lies in its ability to subdue powerful enemies for a time instead. It has long been recognized as a unique and often crucial ability by professional players, thoughplayers who have less experience withOverwatch 2can often find aiming it difficult due to the firing delay and projectile velocity involved with the weapon. With a relatively long cooldown, hitting sleep darts in key moments can mean the difference between victory and defeat during intenseOverwatch 2matches, but one player proves their skill as the support hero after hitting a sleep dart and saving their team with their dying breath.

The player in question goes by Vanishir on Reddit, and while their sleep dart play may have been due to nothing other than sheer luck, they captured an impressive clip nonetheless. Their clip shows a heated skirmish between teams as they battle for dominance over the control point on the Lijiang Tower map, but the approach ofthe enemy’s charging Reinhardtputs several of the player’s teammates at risk. Despite being smacked over the edge of the map by the Reinhardt, the Ana player manages to get their revenge on the way down by scoring a sleep dart hit at the last moment. Hilariously, the Reinhardt is then given the same treatment by a Wrecking Ball player, who sends the sleeping Reinhardt off the map to join Ana.
Ana’s Sleep Dart ability arguably comes in even handier inOverwatch 2, as the shift to 5-player teams has led to each team having only one tank hero. This change appears to have put a muchgreater focus onOverwatch 2’s tank heroes, who have each had a significant boost to their health bars when compared to what they had in the originalOverwatch.
When it comes to changes from the original,Overwatch 2is almost a completely different beast when it comes to team compositions and gameplay mechanics. While players have their own opinions on whether many of these changes are good or not, there have been voicescriticizing the state of hero balancing since the release ofOverwatch 2. Getting the balance right between the game’s many characters seems like a near-impossible task, but with the developers planning to add many more heroes in the future, the tweaks to hero capabilities could well be without end.
