A new clip fromThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimshows a player using a bridge as a catapult in an unexpected way. The clip in question shows the player lining up a handful of dead bandits on a fort draw bridge before using the mechanism to launch the NPCs into the air. The fort full of bandits is one of many that can be found throughoutSkyrim.
WhenThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skryimwas released back in 2011, it blew gamers away. On top of the main storyline, the game featured a seemingly never-ending number of side quests that sent players to every corner of the world. Some of theseside quests outshine the main story inSkyrim, which includes the “A Night To Remember” quest that saw the player go through aHangover-type scenario after having a drink with the wrong guy. Some of the best moments inSkyrim, however, are player-driven and involve gamers finding wacky ways to mess with the world.

ThroughoutSkyrim, one of the most common enemies that players will encounter is bandits. Often, bandits are indistinguishable from one another and usually dress up in the same gear and speak the same lines of dialog. OneSkyrimmod attempted to fix this by adding 500 additional lines of dialog for bandit NPCs, but many will still be found hanging out in abandoned forts throughout the region. One player, however, decided to have a bit of fun with these NPCs in their own house. In a recent post, Reddit user Alex_Drewskie shared a video where they had apparently already gone through the fort and taken out all the bandits within. The player then lined up a set of NPCs identified as Mistwatch Bandits on a drawbridge and pulled the lever, launching the bandits into the air before hitting a nearby tower.
As mentioned above, bandits are perhaps the single most common enemy that can be found throughoutSkyrim. Most quests that feature said bandits usually involve killing their leader and/or retrieving an item from a specific area that bandits are occupying. Since the game was originally released, fans have found different ways to interact and take out these bandit groups. OneSkyrimplayer went as far as to use illusion magicto sit and hang out with bandits, and it is likely fans will find new ways to interact with these NPCs before the nextElder Scrollsis released.
Since the game was originally released in 2011, it has been rereleased several times, with theSkryim Anniversary Editionhitting the Nintendo Switchin September 2022. Over the years, players have continued to share their various encounters with bandits and other NPCs that sometimes result in hilarious glitches and bizarre moments like this one.
