Redditor Kaskaden_916 shared theirawesomeFalloutfan creation, after creating a terrarium based on the games for their jumping spider. There is a full structure for the spider to hide inside, which is opened by a vault door at the top of the mountain. Looking closer at the details, there’s also a deathclaw skull and mini nuke on the floor, giving fans of the franchise something cool to recognize. According to Kaskaden_916, the spider’s name is Lucy - an apt name given Lucy MacLean’s recent popularity, although it isn’t clear if it was actually named after the TV show character.

TheFallout-themed terrarium was 3D printed by the user before being painted by hand. However, it isn’t quite done yet. Kaskaden_916 also claimed that they’re currently in the process of printing and painting even more decor, so the spider has even more places to hide. It’s cool to see how theFalloutgamescontinue to inspire players to bring the series into their real lives in such unique ways.
Despite the series' popularity right now, it’s hard to imagine when the next mainlineFalloutgame will be released. Bethesda’s schedule is taken up byThe Elder Scrolls 6for the considerable future, but the studio doesn’t seem to be in a rush to hand the IP out to a third party in the meantime. However, if Bethesda wants to capitalize on its popularity, this might be the route the studio needs to take. It was recently revealed thatBaldur’s Gate 3Larian was once interested in making aFalloutgame- perhaps this is an idea that could be revisited, as it would be a total match made in heaven, however unlikely it is right now.
