Each character inGenshin Impactcan be leveled up and ascended. Leveling up can be done by using an item that grants EXP, while ascension requires a certain set of materials.
Ascension always includes Elemental stones, boss drops, common drops, and some local specialties. The boss drops included here would be the ones obtained by defeating World Bosses of the open world, like theGenshin ImpactAeonblight Drake.

How To Beat Aeonblight Drake In Genshin Impact
The Aeonblight Drake inGenshin Impactis an automaton, so it has a high 70% Physical RES. Meanwhile, it only has a standard 10% Elemental RES to all other types of DMG. However, if players didn’t interrupt the boss when it charges up, the Aeonblight Drake will absorb the Element thatdamage it most and gain 60% extra RESto that Element.
Thischarging statecan easily be recognized when the boss slowly creates a golden orb on top of its head. Then, the battlefield will be rained with missiles. A prompt will also appear on the screen if the Elemental absorption occurs.

Like typical automatons, players can paralyze this boss when it reveals its weak point (the spot will be glowing yellow when exposure happens). The spot people should aim for depends on theboss’ state inGenshin Impact. Sometimes, the Aeonblight Drake walks on the ground (grounded state), while other times, it activates its wing and enters the flying state.
Paralyzing the Aeonblight Drake will make it helpless for a few seconds, and it will also remove its Elemental RES.

Party Recommendation For The Aeonblight Drake
Aeonblight Drake can easily be brute-forced as it has no annoyinginvincible state like theGenshin ImpactPerpetual Mechanical Array. However, if players can’t beat it without avoiding its Elemental absorption, then it’s highly advised tobring two damage dealers of different Elements.
Additionally, since the Aeonblight Drake is hard to hit when it’s flying, units that wield bows or Catalyst users with long-range should be included in the party. Bow users should be prioritized to hit the boss’ weak points.
