An interestingGenshin Impactimage compares the sizes of the different dragons that can be found in the world of Teyvat. This continent features numerous terrifying monsters that players often need to fight against to advance through the main storyline or farm for their favorite materials.
In one of the first cutscenes inGenshin Impact, Travelers come across the Anemo Archon Venti who tries to calm down Mondstadt’s Anemo elemental dragon known as Dvalin. Just like many other dragons all over Teyvat, Dvalin plays a crucial role in the game’s overall storyline and is part of the Confront Stormterror weekly domain.

A Reddit user named some_evil_sanya has shared a very interesting image that compares the sizes of many different dragons that can be encountered inGenshin Impact’s main storyline. According to the image, the largest living dragon in the game at the moment is the Dendro elemental dragon Apep. According to the official storyline, Apep once ruled over the whole Sumeru region and players can now find and fight him in the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis domain which is a Weekly Boss fight. Even though players don’t get a clear view of Apep as the fight only features the dragon’s silhouette, it’s enough to conclude that he’s by far the largest living dragon in the game so far.
At the moment, Apep is a very popular boss fight since his drop materials are used for building some of therecently released characters like Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet. Many fans in the comment section claim that one of the reasons why Dvalin appears to be much smaller than the others is that HoYoverse had to scale down his model so his boss fight would make more sense.
Despite his smaller appearance, Dvalin managed to beatthe shadow dragon known as Durinwho, according to the chart, seems to be much larger than the Anemo dragon. Durin was created by the infamous alchemist Rhinedottir who also goes by the name the Great Sinner.
Durin invadedMondstadt 500 years before the game’s current timelineand after its defeat, the dragon’s corpse fell over the mountain of Vindagnyr which is why the mountain is now known as Dragonspine. Some fans in the comment section claim that HoYoverse should introduce a time travel mechanic that will allow them to meet some of these creatures like Elynas, who seems to be the largest one in the group, at least according to the fan-made image.
