Genshin Impact’s new major update is just around the corner which means that players can expect a number of new characters to join the playable roster over the next couple of months. The official live stream event has confirmed that the upcoming update 3.0 will introduce three new characters: Dori, Collei, and Tighnari.
Even though the three are yet to officially join the live servers, new leaks have already revealed more information about the next characters to become part of theGenshin Impactroster. Recent rumors have been hinting about another character named Mika who should arrive in the foreseeable future.

One of the most credible leakers in the game named UBatcha1 has revealed more information about this mysterious character claiming that Mika is apparently a very open person, but he can become uncomfortable when around unfamiliar faces. However, Mika’s petite appearance shouldn’t fool anyone as numerous leakers confirmed that he is incredibly strong.
A couple of replies in the comment section claim that they would love to see a new character whose kit revolves around having supernatural strength. UBatcha1 has revealed that Mika will make an appearance inGenshin Impact version 3.1which should arrive around September 28. He will apparently appear as a surveyor of the Reconnaissance Company where he seems to be a key member of the scouting team. When it comes to his element, another popular leaker named hxg_diluc has revealed that Mika will apparently be equipped with a Cryo Vision.
However, these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt considering that characters like Shenhe have been rumored to be Anemo users before the game’s official social media accounts confirmed that she has a Cryo Vision. Mika’s release date is still unknown, but it’s safe to say that he won’t be a part of the upcomingGenshin Impactversion 3.0as he wasn’t part of the recent live stream event. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that Mika won’t be released any time soon since he wasn’t featured in any of the recently released Sumeru teasers which revealed a number of new characters.
However, the main reason why Mika wasn’t shown in any of the videos could be the fact that he is a Mondstadt character and there is a chance that he arrives in the upcoming Mondstadt Festival. At the moment, there are no credible leaks about Mika’s rarity, but fans are hoping that he becomes anewGenshin Impactfive-star characterfrom Mondstadt.
