Thalamus is a Greenery inHades 2that is “mostly used with incantations involving birthright and creation.” While players do not need a large quantity of this “fleshy plant,” there is a very important incantation, Unraveling a Fateful Bond, that requires two of them. For those players who may be struggling to collect all the materials that are used in that incantation, this guide explains exactly how to obtain Thalamus inHades 2.
Hades 2: Thalamus Location
The first step toward obtaining Thalamus is equipping theSilver Spadeand descending into the Underworld. For full clarity, the Silver Spade is aGathering Tool inHades 2that is available at the Silver Pool once the Night’s Craftwork incantation has been performed, and players should be quite familiar with it by the time that they are in need of Thalamus.
With the Silver Spade in hand, players must set their sights on locating aChaos Gate inHades 2, one of which can be seen in an image that is below, within the Underworld. Fortunately, that is quite an easy thing to do, and it is expected that fans will encounter at least one Chaos Gate before they reach the Guardian of Erebus.

After descending into Chaos,Hades 2playersmust simply search for aDigging Spot, which manifests a small brown pile of dirt. While it is possible that such a spot will not be available in every iteration of Chaos, they do appear quite frequently, and fans should interact with them in order to extractOrigin Seeds.
Players should now take those Origin Seeds back to the Crossroads and plant them in one of theirSoil Plots. Once again, it is expected that readers will already have quite a lot of experience with the game’s planting mechanic, but, for the sake of completeness, it is worth noting that the first two Soil Plots are unlocked by performing the Flourishing Soil incantation, and they appear near theCauldron inHades 2.
Once the Origin Seeds are in the ground, all that is left to do is wait for them to grow into Thalamus. This process takes just7 Whiles, and players can quickly pass the time at the Crossroads Hot Springs or Taverna. Alternatively, fans can set back out into the Underworld, and they should find that the desired plants are waiting for them when they return to the Crossroads after finishing their runs.
