Secrets are making a return inHouse of Ashes, as they have been seen inMan of MedanandLittle Hope. There are in total 50 secrets to find in the entire game, and many of them serve as a great way of explaining the background and the lore of the story and creatures behind the horrors inHouse of Ashes.

The Briefing
Secret #1 - Bandit Briefing:On the table of the briefing room, underneath a coffee mug.
The Raid
Secret #2 - Mythology Book:Inside Salim’s house, in Zain’s room on the table. Turn the pages to receive the secret.
Secret #17 - Pagan Effigy:Inside the first room of the first building. Jason must choose to curiously interact with the effigy to unlock the secret.
Secret #7 - Gas Mask:Inside the second farmhouse building after talking to Nick, in one of the rooms, in a basket found in the corner.
Underworld
Secret #47 - Punctured Skull:Once Nick and Jason meet up at the large hand statue, located under the stone hand.
Pazuzu
Secret #18 - Pazuzu:On the floor of the room with a hole by the doorway, while playing as Eric and Rachel.
The Temple
Secret #12 - Cuneiform Tablet:Found at the campsite after entering the temple, behind the tent.
Secret #20 - Creature Features:Down the hallway right side of the throne, on the table closest to the doorway.
Secret #24 - Randolph’s Journal Part 1:Inside the tent in the temple campsite, on the right side table.

Secret #32 - Curse of Akkad:On the table facing the pile of rubble where the flare is, next to the roll of tape.
Secret #34 - Expedition Members:Inside the campsite’s tent, the far back table.
Secret #35 - Aline’s Letter:Right side of the radio at the temple campsite.
Secret #44 - Dynamite:Inspect each rigged pillar in the temple until this secret unlocks.

Secret #21 - Star Map:The tripwired room, on a table next to the crate that needs to be moved.

Secret #14 - Randolph’s Journal Part 3:After Jason and Nick find a puddle of blood while tracking down Joey, on the ground nearby after the brief cutscene.
Secret #29 - Hole Stone:After witnessing the death of the American soldiers, in the tunnel where Salim drops into.

Secret #40 - Finds Ledger:Next to the elevator on a table. verify to turn the pages to unlock the secret.
Secret #10 - Cocoon:Past the giant tree on the right side of the path after getting out of the elevator.
Secret #4 - Pocket Watch:The path outside of the elevator, on the left side next to the upright skeletal body.
Secret #15 - Randolph’s Journal part 9:Left side of the path, after the pocket watch and the upright skeletal body.
The City
Secret #41 - Mysterious Artifact:After crossing a large area with several dead creatures lining each side, at an overlook, on the floor.
Secret #27 - Fossilized Lifeforms:After moving past several cocoons and dropping down to a lower level, directly in front of a ramp as Salim and Jason.
Secret #37 - Ruptured Skull:Right side of the large circular area with a pit in the middle, near the edge. This is right before Salim and Jason sneak past the sleeping cocoons.
Strange Eons
Secret #19 - Creature Life Cycle:Back of the room with the console, attached on a corkboard.
Secret #36 - Randolph’s Journal Part 10:Middle of the room, on the other side of the console that Salim is inspecting.
Secret #43 - Mary’s Notes:On a crate next to where Nick is standing and where the supplies are laid out.
Secret #45 - Van Hyuten’s Confession:On top of a crate on the side of the room where Jason is standing.
Secret #38 - Alien Parasite:If Eric is alive and Rachel is infected and Rachel agrees to be cocooned, Eric will cure Rachel with UV light and this secret unlocks after the parasite is killed.
