There are plenty of interesting Traits inStarfield, but few are quite as intriguing as Raised Enlightened. One of threereligion-based Traits, Raised Enlightened tempts players with the promise of some free goodies, though gives very little away when it comes to what is inside the House of the Enlightened chest.

The former can be a little tricky but becomes a simple task onceStarfieldplayers know where to look.
Where to Find the House of the Enlightened in Starfield
to find the House of the Enlightened, players will need to make their way down into an area of New Atlantis known as The Well. They’ll visit this place during several ofStarfield’s main story missions, but can head there as early as their first visit to the City if they so wish. To do so, they’ll need to ride one of two elevators, which can be found in the Spaceport and MAST District areas of the city. The elevator in the MAST District can be found inside the NAT station by taking a right immediately after getting off the train. The other can be reached via a small corridor between the Jemison Mercantile and Terrabrew Coffee buildings in the Spaceport area, which are to the right of the giant Viewport tower. After entering The Well, players will find the House of the Enlightened in the center of the area and the chest by heading down the steps behind Andy Singh and then taking a left. Much likethe Sanctum Universum chest, the House of the Enlightened chest will only show up if players have Raised Enlightened as one of their active Traits.
What’s Inside the House of the Enlightened Chest?
The House of the Enlightened chest contains some books discussing the religion’s philosophies as well as some useful medical supplies. Players will also be able to find the Inclement Weather Outfit inside the chest, which increases the wearer’s health by ten. In truth, it’s nothing to get too excited about, but should come in handy when players are first starting out, and is definitely better than nothing.
How to Remove the Raised Enlightened Trait
In order to remove the Raised Enlightened Trait, players will simply need to speak with Andy Singh and choose the “[Raised Enlightened] I’m not sure I want to be a part of the Enlightened anymore” option. He’ll try and talk them out of leaving, but after a few more lines of dialogue, they’ll have a chance to select “[Remove Raised Enlightened Trait permanently] I just can’t be a part of the Enlightened anymore” to permanently remove the Trait.
Raised Enlightened vs. Raised Universal
Given that the contents of the two chests are pretty much the same when it comes to value, those looking to decide whether to choose the Raised Enlightened or Raised Universal Trait inStarfieldmay instead wish to focus on each religion’s philosophies. The Enlightened don’t really believe in a god and instead choose to focus on peace, love, and understanding, and the idea of humanity working together to arrive at a better future. On the other hand, followers of the Sanctum Universum believe that god exists and hope that they may one day find them somewhere out in the vastness of space.
